Really? I would sell whenever they release a new product and stocks are high and buy when hysterical people sell so I can buy them cheaply.

Purchased Feb. 12 2002 by my parents and family for me as a university fund thing.

Feb 12, 2002 AAPL at $24.92 USD (3000 stocks).  Not exactly 75k.

They are worth a lot more now
