Yeah, 40 bucks to 400 bucks is 75k to 750k ish.

Purchased Feb. 12 2002 by my parents and family for me as a university fund thing.

Feb 12, 2002 AAPL at $24.92 USD (3000 stocks).  Not exactly 75k.

They are worth a lot more now :)

SO what you're telling me, is that it's your parents fault that Apple didn't crash and die in the dust, like it should have, in the early 2000's?  If that's the case...then i may be able to sue for mental anguish at the fact that Apple is a terrible company, and has continued to plague me throughout life.  (Thanks in part to your families contribution of course...)  Hey, at least with the cash from the stock you'll be able to pay the lawyer fees ;) lmao

But on a more serious note.  Glad Jobs is BACK out of the spotlight, hell he was kicked out of the spot right after Apple formed, so any comment about "1 guy" are BS.  (Sorry had to say it...hate that damn company.)
Huh?

he was kicked for being a perfectionist arrogant bastard who BUILT the company himself and made the huge mistake of putting Mr. Pepsi as CEO. once apple went bankrupt (or was pretty much on the verge of it) steve jobs came back and took those red numbers and put them where they are today, if Steve wouldn't have taken apple back, this would just be history.

apples stock price wont plummet some till he dies, because people for some reason believe that steve jobs actually does stuff at apple.

Im not sure what Chairmen do, but hes a chairmen. . .Im guessing he moves the strings that control the system :P and Tim Cook is his puppet (or I like to think that)

steve jobs didnt do much other then hire people and give keynote speeches. He didnt design dick, thats why stupid people who think steve jobs is some kind of genius and that he designed everything himself (people actually think these things) thats why as long as steve jobs is still living those chimps (the vast majority of the type of people who buy ipods ipads macbooks etc) will still believe he is some kind of puppet master in the background.

So once he dies dont worry about things just get ready to buy more stock

From what I have read of Steve Job, he's the worst dick in the Silicon Valley.

And why would one give a shit about his dicky-ness? His job was to run a company. He did a great job at that. The end.
All you have to do is study it out. Just study it out.

And most CEOs are probably not nice people.

Didn't say there was a problem ::).  Just that he's different from other billionaires, giving insight on what his priorities are.

Same view as the author of that post, if you read it right.

You haven't heard about Josef Mengele then.

From now on this is a Josef Mengele appreciation thread.
For one thing, Tiff is not on any level what I would call a typical American.  She's not what I would consider a typical person.  I don't know any other genius geneticist anime-fan martial artist marksman model-level beauties, do you?

STEVE JOBS resigns from life at the age of 56.

The prediction by others in this thread that he would not make it to Christmas has come true.
