I grow a beard whenever I get lazy. After being lazy for a year or something it is truly a pain to cut it off with a commercial "tri-blade" (or whatever) razor. Takes ages since it gets stuck between the blades, I need to look into a better solution.

I say YAY :)

I actually pinched out one of my facial hairs just to measure it just now (lol that sounds wrong..), allmost 10cm.
Not to bad in a half year, when i recently became 20 ;D

Latest beard pic :)

Good beard.  You need an equally long mustache, and you'd probably look at least 5 years older.
It took an hour to write; I figured it'd take an hour to read.

You look a lot like one of the russian hitchikers I gave a ride today. Are you sure you haven't lived 11 years in the soviet union?

My father has never had (at least as far as I know) with a beard (or long hair).

Especially in the last 19 years, lol.

Punished? Hah.

Hmm, I've not seen a picture of my mother where she'd have a beard.

I like bearding it out. Completely shaven only suits a few men, and they look better with even a little facial hair.

I'm bearding it out at the moment. Might go back to stubble.

And what is your definition of old Tomoya, mid 20's?

As for me i just have my goatee/beard thing (usually accompanied by my 5 o'cl--day shadow). I actually have been wondering lately what I'd look like now without it since I've had it ever since i left high school. My gf however has forbade me from cutting it off and people already think I'm much younger than i really am now anyway. I'm scared to think how young they might guess at if i did shave it off... At least i know i can pull off the goatee/bald look now since that's where I'm headed anyway...  :'(

As long as it's not neckbeardish and properly cared for, I'm all for facial hair (of course there are always a few exceptions)!

Yes, but: old == respect
Hence: beard == respect

You'll see the value one day.
