Gamestop is such a fucking shitty company.. anyway just FYI for those of you who hadn't heard and actually bought Deus ex 3 from their crappy store

Evidently Gamestop took it upon themselves to fucking OPEN BRAND NEW PC GAMES, AND REMOVE CONTENT before giving customers their games... wow.. just.. wow. I've always hated them for their 'new' games that were opened and full of stickers, but this is just insane. I hope they get the hell sued out of them. I know Frys had a lawsuit against them for opening and selling opened items as brand new years ago and they stopped the policy. WHy the hell as no one sued gamestop yet? This is just insane. I dont know how its legal for them to do this

First of all who the fuck would use OnLive and why would anyone care about those coupons? Well, I guess it's the principle thing, but internet rage rarely lasts long on principle only.

kenshin-dono:
oh I totally agree onlive is gay.. but it doesn't change the fact that theyre basically opening your shit without your consent and stealing things from it. Thats bullshit any way you look at it. Im sure there ARE people out there that care about onlive

TMRNetShark:
You do realize they only removed a code to get a digital copy of the game? If you bought the hard copy... why would you need the digital copy? You put in a promotion in each box that is a direct competitor to the retailer who BOUGHT all those games to sell. If you owned a business, you would remove the coupons for the competition too, especially since it really wouldn't hurt the customer (except the open boxes). Is it wrong? Well it's pretty bad to put in a promotion that a competing company is selling... so I think it's warranted.

If you have a problem with, it's simple to just not buy the game... I mean, why not just buy it on Onlive if people are gonna be so ravenous about it...  ::)

I don't care about OnLive either, honestly i doubt many people do(no offense if you do though), but it is about the principal of things. I don't know if it is really illegal or not, but they will lose at least a little business over this even if things die down quickly, and they've already lost a lot of PC gamers anyway. I stopped buying awhile ago for other reasons.

Also OnLive isn't much of a competitor, it's a game streaming service that doesn't technically offer a real copy of the game(digital or othnerwise). It's a new service that partnered with Square, who ships and sells the game. Hardly warranted IMO.
