Technically, if it was a theft, their lawyers would advice them from doing it. However most likely it is technically and legally not a theft.

newy:
What they removed was a code for a streaming site (OnLive). Their direct rival in that market as Gamestop is about to create such a service themselves. It is not theft as it was Square Enix' mistake to put that code in the boxes that were considered for Gamestop to sell.

Osmo:
I never liked gamestop.
Everytime I went in there it looked dead.
The service is what stops me from going in they just talk very rude.

Stsin:
What do you expect from a place ran by gamers ;)

Seriously, it depends on location.  The Gamestop here is pretty busy.  For waiting in lines for the midnight releases, it's usually at Best Buy or Gamestop.

Gamestop bought out Impulse.  I love Stardock games.   I've used Impulse since they followed Stardock's DRM free policy.  No longer true with Gamestop ownership :(

Not true. Stardock DRM free policy ended when they released Impulse, long before gamestop bought it. Besides, Impulse DRM is really a light version of what you would find in Steam. You can play the games without Impulse running, no retarded encryption of files that interferes with modding, etc...
