Samsung cites Stanley Kubrick's '2001: A Space Odyssey' movie as prior art again

Would depend. I think tv examples like these would be better used to invalidate the original patent. The effects of which would then be more likely to affect all current cases rather than just this specific one.

A victory would sure make room for a parody ad.  You see a youth wearing an Android brand tshirt typing away at a NON-apple laptop that was white but had the Samsung logo on it.  The user scrolls past Quicktime media in order to select the NON-apple format of Windows Media.  It begins playing on a samsung branded player (can be either android or windows media player which allows rebranding skins) and you see some rough looking anthropomorphic cromagnons waving some bones around this white obelisk that has the number 4 on the corner (ha ha).  Of course, you begin to hear the music "Thus Spoke Zarathustra" playing which should remind you of 2001 A Space Odyssey.  Hitting it gently with the bones causes big cracks to appear on the obelisk that looks like cracked glass.   As the monolith crumbles away, the bone is tossed high into the air and transforms into a Samsung Galaxy from which streams all sorts of colourful streamers that look like various media offerings.  The Galaxy falls back to earth and by sheer coincidence lands in the spot where the white monolith used to be.  After the first triumph of horns in Thus Spoke Zarathustra, the cromagnons quickly morph into modern man under the evolutionary guidance of the new Galaxy monolith.

It doesn't have to be 1984 in 2012.  It's Time.  Samsung Galaxy.   <-- or insert desired non-apple name here

I hope so. Apple has basically claimed to own the patents to the tablet, something that was first designed a couple of thousand years ago. Samsung could even cite the bible for examples of tablets.
