I couldn't wait, so I went with the Hadena subs. They worked. They weren't babelfish this time. Now I did have to pause a few times during the debate, but they had a lot of dialog to deal with, so I won't fault the subbers for not giving enough time to read.

Great debate. For a self-confessed dumb guy, Aoi is one smart cookie. I never took debate in college, so this was like a debate 101 class. Battle with wits, and not arms. Aoi even worked it so the president had followers, after she knew she would end all possible political ambitions for defending the Save Horizon operation.

WE also got the best reasons for a just war from this anime. Maybe I shouldn't be surprised, but I was.

Tes, and it only begins.
It's funny how she turned around all arguments, and then he turned them around, and so on ...

This is a political anime in a sense, with typical fighting on the go, it has bits of echii but it's well balanced :)

The strange thing is how hard it is for Anime characters to find out someone is a girl, THE HIPS !!!

The better quality is because for this episode they didn't use their own translator, who even their staff admits is terrible, but used the scripts from The Anime Network.

... i can't believe it took four episodes to get interesting.

either way, I'll follow this from now on. started like C3 making you think it's a completely ordinary highschool/slice of life anime.

I don't know where you got that feeling from Kyrdua, although the past episodes were indeed calm, but it was all gathering for that, they made an effort to explain a few things before starting the serious business.

Wasn't it a big clue that our hero was going to profess his love to a girl who has been dead for 10 years? Me, I thought all the other characters only thought him to be slightly nuts, or eccentric.

well, Tori made the anime seem like a generic HS/SOL comedy. But I did notice the "between the lines" story telling. it's just i had to stall it for a while expecting it to not get better.

Yay, we know what we are going to do for the rest of the series. Don't we? I think all the groundwork has more or less been laid down now.

I wonder why they didn't go rock, paper, scissors. Because it would have been finished in three minutes, and not 3 episodes? lol

I wonder if I went to a Japanese strip club, or whatever they have for gentlemen's clubs over there, if a dance would be very much like what we saw in the most recent episode. Tori's sister Kimi is awesome. It would be nice having her give me a heart attack. Finally an anime chick who knows what to do! YES!!!

It's neat the way they get to make up new rules for battle, because of all the different deities that are involved.

Yes indeed, I bet the second time she will cry will be when her brother and Horizon are reunited and safe.

Also how she allowed all those attacks to reach her, at some point I was expecting her to say something along "It's not a matter if I can defeat you, but a matter of if you can defeat me!" lines, but that would be so cliche I would die from laughter I think. To think a dancer can be this strong :) although after playing Ragnarok Online I don't have any doubts :D

Yes, ever since she was captured. There were some DVDs and Ero-ge as well, you might do research and find some stuff :)

I wish this last episode didn't go so fast. Seems like everything, including the battle scenes which I expect them to be, was a blur.

Personally I liked the battle dance of Aoi's sister more than the battle this episode with our flying lovelies.

And is it just me, or does this war seem an awful lot like the school battle from episode one?

It technically is like that, because both sides don't want to do much damage to the other.

But yes, the last episode was so great it just flew by, I envy the people that will marathon this show :)

I dont really understand why the territories and why Mikawa and Musashi are different entities? Mikawa is on land while Musashi is a spacecraft. Will someone be kind enough to explain the specifics of this anime? I still dont quite understand even though I have followed the anime very closely.

Only strongest factions have city on land, other using floating city's. I think that was explained in 1-2 episodes. And they are fighting for Horizon who is/was princes (I think) and now she is robot/weapon.
