Where's the connection to anime/manga?
lol, same question on the offer >_>

There's a bunch of light novel illustrations in there too, and a few pages from Hametsu no Mars. But truthfully, it focuses mostly on his art featured in the games he's worked on. It's all along the same style as the samples though, so I'm not trying to get Spongebob on here... yet.

Tbh, I had noticed other art books featuring game artists and hadn't given the anime/manga relation a second thought.

I guess I got carried away in the excitement of scanning. The relationship is fairly minor, the illustrations from the light novels have a fairly minor role in the book, as does the art from Hametsu no Mars (and, it has to be said, that section contains mostly art from the game, not the OVA.) I only recall one page specifically mentioning it was from the OVA, but I was just looking at the pictures after all >_>
It's all the right style for anime/manga, it's just 90% from his games. =/
