I did but we went to defining morality :)

It works on the same basis? That group has it's own morality and it differs from another group's. Or are you just trying to start bashing religious morality? Because then I am out, since it's so easy, it's not even funny any more.
Havoc10K:
No, i'm not trying to bash, we all know it's wicked sick. What I am trying to do is understand the reasoning behind their morality.
See the more I read about some stuff the more contradictions there are on the Church side.
I will stand by my opinion that there practically is and the re should not be any morality, but since that is something people describe as doing the right or wrong, it just means that if an Atheist still claims that same theory, he isn't an Atheist really. For me, deciding on what is right and what is wrong I decide that based on my own conscious decisions, not my moral standing, since I don't have one.

I'm sort of confused as to what the argument. To me a basic definition for personal morality is: What you would not want to be done to yourself is morally wrong to do to others, unless that specific person wants it to be done(And vice versa). It is all personal, you choosing what is right and wrong IS your personal morality.
As to why a group of religious people don't have the same moral values as a group of scientists is due to their own beliefs. For example a group of fundamentalist religious people may believe that taking organs from other people, keeps them from being able to go to heaven, and is therefore morally wrong to do to a person. While the scientists do not share that same belief and believe it is morally wrong to not help that person.
