New Galaxy Note & will iphone5 top iphone 4?
Mistgun_Zero:
I personally prefer full touch-screens to the normal keyed one, it's more easier to interact that way. And after a while you can type without seeing on the on-screen qwerty as well. It's just a matter of practice.

I bet you still can't send text messages from your pocket though. Because buttons give a response every time you press it, you will get confirmation through your finger that you actually pressed the button. You can never be too sure with touchscreen.
What I will most likely buy is one of those Nokias that have touch screen but also slide out a full qwerty keyboard. Those look neat!

The iPhone construction quality ain't brilliant either. I have one friend who covets it as though it'll break if its held too tightly, and I'm not surprised after seeing what's left of another friends iPhone's screen after he kept in his back pocket and did that most dangerous of activities; bending over. And he's not the only one whose broken their screen by doing something rather benign like accidentally dropping it once in your lifetime or putting it under mild tensile forces.

I disagree, aesthetics and design is a thing of personal taste, so claiming superiority by the looks is a very faulty argument. For one, I think that any phone that doesn't have buttons is automatically a big failure because that means I can't type messages without staring at a damned screen. That includes iPhone, HTC, Galaxy, etc..

Yes faulty argument it was.

Trust me. I was a button person. A Nokia T7, X7, N8 fanboy. I don't know. Things change after you own a iPhone 4. After over a year of having the phone I still have to admire it's body and design. This is beyond my control, and I rejected the previous iphones.
AceHigh:
What annoys me is that Nokia can't get their shit together with a real OS for their smarthpones, I wouldn't mind Symbian, but lately they have been changing OS faster than underwear and I hear rumours about them using Windows OS as a last attempt in the smartphone market.
Oh, well, I'll just stick to dumbphones, don't even need an SMS function, I literally only use it to call... or more often to recieve calls because people keep bugging me all the time.
As for design, last time I borrowed an iPhone from a friend, I got the sensation that it was the most uncomfortable phone to hold next to your ear and it's shape (a brick) did not make it more comfortable to hold the phone while talking to someone.
