Multi that is, don't give a hoot about single player,

It seems you and me are the only people here that will buy MW3 (like I said, I will be buying both)... but I'm more exciting about using the Support package (Sleight of Hand, Overkill, Stalker... look at the pro versions of each :P) with UAV, Ballistic Duffle, and Remote UAV. I'm going to LOVE that setup.
Probably another setup will be Assault package (Scavenger, Quickdraw, Sitrep) with Predator Missile, Little Bird Guard, Talcon. Apart from the Predator... no one can surprise buttseck (backstab) me! :P

Am still not really sure what perks i'll use, am a ground war player so its totally dependent on how strong explosive damage is. Slight of Hand will always be P1 choice though. I only play Domination to try get 100+ kills so it will be whatever aids me most in aggressive gameplay, from what i've seen SMGs are strong so id probably stick steady aim as P3, and hardline as P2 if explosive damage isn't overkill.
My kill streaks will almost certainly be LBG (7), AC130(12), Osprey Gunner(15) or Predator Missile(5) LBG(7) and AC130(12) ....get the highest streaks nearly every game in MW2/BO, especially BO because of blackbirds...doubt this COD will be much harder.

I already pre-ordered it for a friend of mine. He had his birthday this Saturday, and since he liked MW2 and didn't particular like Black Ops, MW3 seemed like a good present. Too bad I can't give it to him for 2 months. Might spoil it before come November though just to make sure he doesn't pre-order himself.
Fun fact: Steam costs €60 (digital). The place where I am buying it costs €47 (retail). Seriously, where's the logic in that?

Maybe you get a free month of Elite with it... :P I don't know if I would pay for elite or not. It's either I pay $60 4 times over the course of a year or I just pay the $50 up front and get all that content as soon as it's released. If the 360 players who pay for elite get their content a month before me (still), then paying for elite is pointless.

I'll prolly end up buying both as well, but I have a feeling I'll like BFBC better. I love sniping in games, and BFBC has sniping that is realistic. MW just killed it. If they create bigger maps and get rid of quickscoping completely—I don't care how—I might consider saying it's improved, and possibly better.

You will always find retail releases cheaper. CoD is even worse, its stupidly overpriced because they know people will buy it.
