Alarm Clock and how you react to it?

metro.:
I set my alarm clock once when I actually wanna get up, and then one on my phone 30 mins before and one 10 mins after.

Works about 90% of the time.

hanayome:
Depending on the ringtone, I can wake up more easily... I can set a motivational one which pushes me forward. :P

Hayaku:
FML  <---- everytime

Pentium100:
I set my PC to start playing music about 30 minutes before I have to get up (the playlist is arranged so the first songs are slow and quiet, and the songs progressively get louder and faster). The way of turning it off is by getting up, going to the amplifier and turning it off. I find that using this method I am almost never sleepy after I get up, because I get up slower. OTOH, I can turn off an alarm clock while I am sleeping (if the clock is within reach) or I am usually sleepy after I get up (if the clock is outside my reach from the bed). The volume takes some attempts to get it right. If it is too loud, I wake up fast and am sleepy and if it is too quiet I might not wake up, but if the volume is just right I am not sleepy at all.

gingku:
I had an ole wind up, but after a few throws, kicks, punches... divebombs or just general mindless half awake jumping out of bed because i thought it was a fire alarm for some reason, i got rid of it... yaaayyy, now i use my phone :D
