This was pretty good. Kinda reminded me of Xam'd, which is one of my favorites. Looking to forward to rest of the movies.

I appreciate the film quality of animation. But now that Guilty Crown has started, if I am not careful I think I might mix these two anime up.

Haha, nice :D Another char with old school hairdo xD

About this movie part: Was a bit disappointed. Just a "hunt of the week" thing. No insights on Quon or the enemy. The only thing I noticed is that one of them (the blond?) is a pretty hard liner or brainwashed.

I knew nothing of the outside world. I was just a frog in a well.

Ep. 3 came out recently. It took me a couple of days to give me room to watch a double length episode.

Three was pretty mental. At least it wasn't as 'bent' and two was. But in a way it was similar and or redundant. So while there were moments where I was not fond of, all in all it was a good watch.

Where does all the money come from in sci-fi anime? Those hidden bases cost fortunes! But somehow they are just supposed to be 'normal'? This always stretches my willing suspension of disbelief a little out of shape.

I liked the third episode. At last, my question about Towa has been answered. And good that finally main protagonists have their past revealed, even if only partially. Hopefully somehow more to come in the short number of remaining episodes. Can't wait to see Epsilon in the next episode!

Guys... are Monokage's subs good? I've been waiting for that other group... but my boys can't wait any longer, and neither can I.
Demons run when a good man goes to war. Night will fall and drown the sun, when a good man goes to war. Friendship dies and true love lies, night will fall and the dark will rise, when a good man goes to war. Demons run but count the cost, the battle's won, but the child is lost.

I think they're good. No issues although I can't speak for the translation. What other group were you waiting for?

Was waiting for FFP&Hiryuu.... then I remembered that I am a TL and can judge the quality of subs for myself... :-[

Forget I asked. Talk about a brain fart.

After this episode I'm wondering how old Towa  is 100, 200 years

Isn't he like 1,000 years old??? I think there was reference to the ruling era he was from.

I've only watched 1 & 2 so far, wtb better release! Doki's was fine, I hope they finish it soon!

Love it, I'm surprised it's kind of fallen under the radar.

Looks like its time for me to finally pick up those Doki subs. Had been holding out, but this topic has pushed me to picking it up.

Kind of lucky that no one has written beyond the 3rd episode yet. I've re-watched the first three eps now, and the show is definitely good. Quon was getting kind of annoying with this whole "want to save everyone", but I guess watching your entire village getting destroyed is a good motivator. Ipsilon is getting interesting, I wonder if he'll find out that they were planning to re-format him. Probably won't be happy or is he so devoted to the cause that he wouldn't mind if it meant destroying these "monsters"? From the looks of the preview he might join Quon's cause if he does find out.

Also, like that Quon actually experiences the pain when he regenerates. Makes me think of another character who can't die but says "it hurts like hell" when you damage him even though he isn't mortally wounded.

The scientist may also abandon the cause. He certainly has that look "this isn't what I signed up for". Although I have to wonder what his intentions were when he did sign up for it. Money? Ah, yes. Probably advancement in science. But is that motivation enough to keep him doing what he does?

I wonder why Ipsilon calls them monsters? Does he think that they're the reason his sister awakened? That and a bit of brainwashing. Also, hard to believe that the government doesn't find all the damage weird and isn't investigating it at all. It would have worked better with them cooperating with the government as a kind of "consulting team" like in Hellboy.

Also, spent a lot of episode three disliking it since I thought that boy from the second episode was suddenly alive. Not really good at showing us that it wasn't him.

Also, need more epic animation like in the first episode. ;D
