I meant that in the sense that some people claim they can't figure out F1 racing because it's "too complicated", or "NASCAR is the worlds greatest automotive sport" which is questionable because it's a totally subjective belief. I'm speaking for the spectators and not the drivers themselves.
Obviously you can enjoy both NASCAR and F1.
And because it was NASCAR, the token redneck complement was required. Don't worry, it stands just the same with the token Texan with Big things.

I never claimed Nascar to be the best racing venue... Are you kidding me?
Rally racing is the best!
I was just trying to make a point that IMO that Nascar is more fun to watch than F1... live and televised.

NASCAR is more fun to watch in the collisions.
F1 is more fun to watch for the racing itself.
But this is an IMO.

Not long after I got my license, raced an acquaintance down a public street from a red light. It was late and few cars were out. Soon there were flashing blue lights behind us. I quickly pulled over and the cop told me to stay right there, then proceeded to chase the other guy which kept going and turned into a neighborhood. After awhile he came back with the other guy in the back seat and told me to get in too.
All I got was a warning, then he let me go. I found out later that he charged the other guy everything that was possible. Street racing, reckless driving, evading, etc. Losing his license. I think if he didn't try to get away, we'd both would have had heavy fines. But since he did, the cop let me go with just a warning to spite him.

Cause there was only one of him and two of you. Plus your "acquaintance" was hoping that the cop would snag you first while he got away. The cop didn't see it that way... and charged the person who thought they could evade the law.
If you know your caught, be honest. If you think a cop is bluffing (in other cases, not street racing), call him out on it.

The very best you can do is never admit fault. I have been pulled over for street racing, speeding, and hooning.
I have only ever been charged twice though, one for street racing and one for speeding. When you get pulled over never go 'I am sorry officer for (insert crime)' it is better to start with 'Hello officer how are you today? How can I help you' (hand your licence over right away though they always look at them, atleast here). Cops need proof that you broke a law, and most the time there is no solid proof for it.
If you have cruise control on your car (and shows some form of text on the cluster) hit it before you pull over completely, so that the light remains on the dash. If your done for speeding it is a very good way to get out of a ticket if its only a little over the limit, that way you can say that your speed limit was set to (I always say 1-2km/h under the speed limit never the exact speed limit).
As for hooning, I always used the 'I just brought my car, and it has a bit more torque then I am used to, the light truck tyres on the back dont really help matters. I will try to easy the power on even slower next time' Or if it is raining 'Sorry officer, these tyres don't seem to do too well with accellerations from stand stills while in the wet. I am looking at getting better tyres but it is hard to find better brands for this car.' Of course only use those excuses if the cop goes 'I noticed you spun your wheels for awhile there.'

i always go with How can i help you officer ? And you play the part inquisitively. Im white so cops usually dont have a predisposed hatred of me. Always ask the officer why he had pulled you over and ask for a warning nicely first most of the times a cop will give you a warning if your courteous and make his life as easy as possible IE pulling into a place he can safely walked up to your vehicle and tell you how much of a fuck head you are for doubling the speed limit or something along those lines. Apologize ask for warning hope for the best. If he shoots it down in jersey you get to demand to get a print out from the radar on how fast he clocked you
