it's in the thrill of escaping when the police catches wind of what they're doing, apparently.
also, bragging rights if they successfully do.

I have no sympathy for street racers. None. Everything has its time and place. Cars are not toys, and there are way too many dumbasses on the road endangering people's lives already without more dumbasses making it worse.

I don't think people should be allowed to do it, it endangers lives and is assinine.
On the other hand, when I do it it's perfectly safe and a LOT of fun.
