Furuya is obsessed with zombies. He collects any figurines, watches any movie, and plays any game with the living dead, and is even only interested in zombie girls. When his cat dies, Furuya begins trying to raise it from the dead using an ancient book of the occult he bought from a shop. But what will happen when he sees the idol of a nearby all girl's school walking close to where he conducts his experiment, wishing to die and be reborn as a different person?

Note: Bundled with the sixth and seventh limited-edition volumes of the manga.

The original anime DVD bundled with the sixth manga volume depicted another encounter that the lead characters Rea and Chihiro had before the main story. The two happened to visit the same public bath one day.

As for this show, It seems to be fairly fun to watch. But why are you posting about a show that will be in the next year ?

I would prefer it to be posted about at least one season before or a month-two ahead. When It will actually start it will likely get a new topic.

after I saw the news yesterday I went to check out the manga and ended up reading all the chapters since there are only 19 at the moment, I cant wait for this

I was just checking to see if anyone had found out about this yet and it looks like they have. Its not on ADB yet it appears.

I skimmed a bunch of the manga a while back, and just read the latest couple of chapters. Its very strange.. an odd mix of comedy, ecchi, and some serious drama and tragedy. It even has some creepy incest thrown in. I actually dont know what to really think of this one. Honestly the way its going im thinking it will have a very bad ending. Its not just a cute 'aww zombie girl love' thing, like i thought it was at first. It starts to get pretty dark, and at this point, shes starting to seriously loose her shit and trying to eat the guy

But its this weird ping pong of comedy and seriously f'd up drama that intrigues me about the show. If they can translate that to an anime well then this should be very intersting. Maybe we'll have a good zombie anime finally. High school of the dead was way too full of really bad T&A, and went nowhere, and i just couldn't get into kore wa zombie. I stalled like 3 or 4 epps in i think. Come on, good zombie show!

I gotta actually d.load and read the manga properly now instead of just the skimming i did a while back

Nah, kidding, I think Tatsu is just trying to stay ahead of the game as it were.

Those are some seriously messed up pics Kenshin-dono, reminds me of a web comic I read a long long time ago.

The end of it was pretty gruesome, the girl/sister who was a Samurai of some sort, ended up eating this guy alive basically.

Yes, because censored BluRays are not appealing

Not to mention that both shows will have technically different style. I'm pretty sure there will be echii, but there will be no manly Mahou Shoujou XD

I'm waiting, but I think Tatsujin is purposely delaying it XD
