Indeed, which is why she annoys me. I like her personality and I admire her dedication, but since it's just not working, I'd go for the trap boy if I was in her shoes.

Just watched the recent episode.
Ranko is now officially my most hated character of this entire anime season. I can't find a single redeeming quality in her. I don't find her pretty, her personality is the worst I've seen in a very long time and I seriously wish Chihiro would tell her to get a life and let him live his dream, despite the fact that Rea is (quite literally) a lot more work than Ranko will ever be.
And to think she's only going to get worse from here...

Well, yeah I know what you mean, however, I can't force myself to hate her for what she is going to try doing. Because outside of the situation, shes a really nice person. However I do get why you want to hate her and I dislike her myself for the same reason, which is why she annoys me at this point. But I still Do like her when she's not all about Chihiro. She's pretty likable when she's not all about him. And she is pretty, just not enough to love her. I hope for some more "Get this monkey offa me!" situations lol

I think I would have liked her more if she weren't so pushy. But the fact that she tries everything in her power to win him over (and she'll become increasingly desperate over time) is mostly why I can't stand her. Love has to come naturally, you can't force it, yet she doesn't seem to understand that.
Maybe if Chihiro can't help Rea and she starts to rot away, he'll hook up with Ranko, but at this point, I think she has a better chance of winning the lottery.

Naah, even if Rea will start rotting he will be all over her.
Like I said, when Wanko is not all about Chihiro, she's likable. Every other moment she annoys me.
I actually liked her reminiscing their pasts, it was kinda warm and cute. But then she had to say she loves him. I will hate her as much as you do whenever she tries something, but when she's neutral, she will be liked by me.
Also, this proves me saying she hit the gramps on purpose, she saw what's going on.
