Looking to buy a Tablet?
Saras:
If you are used to an iPhone, get an iPad. It'll most likely feel better.
Generally, what concerns tablets, my suggestion is the same as with the people looking for a netbook. Go to a shop that has a lot of them setup for a test run and just pick the one that feels the best to use, the one with the nicest looking screen, the one that's the right size for your hands... ect.
These are not the type of devices that are intended to run battlefield 3 or CADs. The specs other than battery life, wifi/3g support and possibly built in gps don't really matter.

i do not get how a GTX580 score higher than a GTX590 and a HD6970 performing worse off than the HD6950 on THIS link you gave. please enlighten me.
edit: upon looking up the CPU tables i`ve seen much as THIS that saying CPU-i7-970 had a score of 9,927 with a price of $559.99 while the CPU Phenom II X6 1055T had a score of 5,191 with a price of $149.99, that is an effective 92% of performance difference but 374% difference in price. price per performance does make it silly, but that boost of performance in the higher arena does get heavy to attain.

well for school purposes the best aim is for battery life respectably, you cant use something that`ll only last you 4hrs on an 8hrs chain of lessons. the power of it's processor is of no use if you`ll only use it for wordpress or powerpoint, even a pentium 3 can handle those.
pretty much battery life and versatility(supports a USB drive, has a touchscreen, etc.) is the only stuff you`ll have to aim for, anything else is a bonus.

I don't know why or how those results came about, but that's the fact of the matter. Maybe Nvidia is inflating the prices of their videocards just like Intel does. On the other hand, Intel has far superior CPUs than AMD for sure. That's why Intel can put their CPUs at such a high price point. The 20% number I am guestimating is from video games frame rate. An overpowered CPU will turn out massive numbers of calculations per cycle, but will overall give a 20% increase in FPS in a videogame, basically leaving the rest of that potential untapped. Do I think it's a waste of money? For that price/performance... Yes.
On topic: another important detail is the type of screen that is on a tablet. Is it glass or plastic? Plastic will usually scratch over time and it's really annoying if the screen doesn't recognize your finger when using it if it's overly scratched. Bad thing about glass is that is can shatter easier than plastuc screens.

Whilst it's true nobody makes virus' for Linux, the only time this becomes a factor is when you're a moron who clicks every link that pops up.

Or porn.
Does MSE also give zero results?

MSE, AVG and AVAST! generally give similar results
Avira has slightly different.
Go Nod32 if you really want to find something.
