iPad 2 vs Asus EEE Pad Transformer

There's many other comparisons out there already, but what they all show is that the iPad2 is the most responsive.  Something that needs to be improved with the Android OS.

But if I were to get a tablet now, it would be the Asus EEE Pad Transformer.  I could care less about proprietary Flash support when there's HTML5, but the Transformer's other extras is just too sexy...as well as the price.

What the fuck kind of bias is this?  And I promise you 99% of consumers will not need some of those features.

And wtf, some things would not be on tablet anyway, physical keyboard?  WTF?

Hahahaha, got you mad!  ;D
Besides it's not biased if the comparison doesn't have those features either. Are you telling me that 99% of consumers would not want Camera for photo/video, Flash support, USB, Card Reader, HD display and third party apps? Really???

A tablet is something I would dick around with. Personally, the Iconia, Transformer and Playbook are the most interesting ones at the moment. I have an iPhone, an iPad 2 has no "new" or interesting features to me.

Cost wise, Iconia is the one I'd consider, but the playbook is exceptionally unique as well and more geared towards what I'd use it for.

Or, I could wait to see if Lenovo's $199 tablet is worth considering (end of September supposedly)

Tomoya... he's just pointing out that people who think that tablets are the "future" (especially Apple's iPad's) are sorely wrong. Why are we dumbing down our computers just so it looks cool or can have a big touchscreen? There are netbooks that do all of those features that the iPad 2 cannot AND it has comparable battery life. Not only that, but I can do everything my home PC can do (except maybe play some demanding games... but Age of Empires II works just fine on a netbook while I have to play Angry Birds on my iPad) without spending as much money on an iPad.

PC > laptop > netbook > Any non-Apple tablet > Gameboy Advance > Nintendo DS > Gameboy Micro > Any stone > My Brickberry > iPad 2

Just some cold hard facts.
