HORROR: Evil videogames promoting environmentally friendly messages

I don't usually agree with FOX news, but in this case I sort of do. In the case of Sim city, pollution has always been a factor in the game, and the fines thing makes a bit of sense (that happened in my city actually). However, I am against most forms and reasons for indoctrination of children. That I do agree with. As for this eco-hitler game...never heard of it, but I'd probably hate it.

Osmo:
The things with games is that it can have completely different effects from one child to another. Most do not go out and kill people after they play certain games, then there are kids that do.
In general though it does desensitise kids to alot of violence, as certain games are violent in nature.
Again we do not know who is playing these games so you can't blame video games.

I blame parents... how can parents willingly get video games that say "Blood, Gore, and Intense Violence" and think... "Oh... this Call of Duty game seems wholesome enough for my 13-16 year old kid."  ::)

Ratings are clearly labeled on retail games. Online social games aren't. So these Fox news people got a point that games potentially could portray an agenda (be it left or right).

I don't know about any of you guys, but I totally see Warhammer 40K: Space Marine as the most Right wing game ever. I mean come on... Besides the violence, it just bleeds Republican. :P

AceHigh:
Warhammer universe doesn't give a damn about right wing or left wing as it's main inspiration is the Dark Ages in Europe put in a sci-fi setting.

Sorry, I was trying to be sarcastic without being overly sarcastic to the point of " ::) " laughter... (minus the laughter)

I do desire a weapon in Space Marine that would be like a crossbow... but it would have the ability to skewer multiple Orks. I would call it the BB Rifle (BB standing for Bolter Bow).
