Description: 26 years ago, in a third-year classroom of a middle school, there was a student named Misaki. As an honors student who was also good at sports, the charming girl was popular with her classmates. When she suddenly died, her classmates decided to carry on as if she was still alive until graduation. Then, in the spring of 1998, a boy named Sakakibara Kouichi transfers to that classroom, and he grows suspicious of the fearful atmosphere in that classroom. In particular, there is a beautiful, aloof girl named Mei Misaki who wears an eyepatch and is always alone drawing pictures.

This fucking shit is getting amazing! P.A.Works next masterpiece has arrived. The Animation Producers responsible for both Angel Beats and Hana-Saku Iroha is currently working on this series, Another. This series is originally done by Ayatsuji Yukito. Directed by Mizushima Tsutomu. And best of all, the character design is being handled by Ishii Yuriko whom also worked on Hana-Saku Iroha!

Another TV Series is being planned to release in January of 2012 followed by the OAD in May of 2012. Expect some epic horror scenes seeing this done by P.A.Works. Do check out the Official website. It's pretty bad ass!

Yay, PA Works! That pretty much makes it a must watch for me, Angel Beats and HanaIro were both absolutely superb. Shame it's such a long time till it airs.

At any rate, Next year does seem to be filled with amazing shows. Must be 2012 mark

Looks pretty dark to me.

Is it just me or next year will have the darker theme in it ? Already 4 titles that look pretty dark.

No problem for me. I love dark ones. Either way, THAT girl is considered pretty? Meh. Plot seems epic though. Will watch... Wonder if I'll wait for its BDs.

Novel tag means it is based on a light novel book, although in this case it will be heavy novel book I guess. Also I will wait for BDs as this will be, as many other shows next year, heavily censored.

Umineko's censor was laughable, totally uncensored in flashbacks

Also pointless, but for dark shows, blood is the only reason to censor, also, it would be nice to watch a dark show in full HD.
Decided I will finish Blood-c and re-watch it in BDs, and likely archive it. Also I need a bit more info about this show, but I don't want to read the manga/novel yet.

Novel, Manga and Live Action - So far three things were verified. Thou' this is based on the Novel since it's the original manuscript. The manga started releasing in Spring of 2010. The Live Action was release I think in 2009. Check the Wikipedia link I placed in the first post. I'll update this information later.

Sorry to dig this up but this has had my attention for a while. I just wanted to know a bit more about it since I can't find much information on it. Does anyone know if this is going to be thriller/suspense horror or a gorefest? I'd prefer the first.

Maybe I'll check out the book. Read some reviews, pretty scary **** apparently. 677 pages hope they do it justice.
