No credibility remains after the opening moments when Mei did not state who the Extra is.

Kouichi would be the only one who would believe her, though, since no one else knows about her power. The rest would probably write it off as her trying to save her skin by throwing out a random name if she tried to tell them.

Of course, killing a full-grown human being with a single blow from a mop is s trivial thing to do ... but then, I nitpick in a barrel full of nitpicks.

Who says she's dead? Until it is confirmed that she is dead, I say she was merely knocked unconscious.

The title for the next episode is the only one that doesn't seem to fit whatever poem the first 11 seem to compose.

Fits perfectly for me. If the past 11 episode titles (the English ones) hint at building a doll, then the last one refers to it being complete.

I doubt this story can still be redeemed at this point; doesn't seem much more than a bucketfull of bloodbath and slasher nonsense.  Im'a just shut up now and watch it in gruesome fascination like any other train wreck.

You need to look at the bigger picture. So far, what we've seen is not outside the realm of possibilities. Yeah, they used this ep as pure gorefest, but given the preview of last week's ep, I was expecting that to happen. There was simply no way Kouichi and co. could keep the tape's contents a secret without destroying it, so I knew this would turn out to be a mass-slaughter.

One thing that makes me inclined that it's that arts club guy is that they all agreed about keeping the tape a secret for now, and he just showed it to the counter girl.

Shit happens, he keeps running off, I didn't see him shed a single tear the entire season and he's supposed to be sensitive. We should assume the teacher is dead, for the flow of silliness of this show's deaths count.

The only person among all the kids aside from MC and Mei lost sanity seeing her best friend hanging on cables and decides it's Mei's work just because she holds something in hand. It's easy to assume anything without trying to find out reasons for things.

The only thing that explains the behavior of those kids is that they are desperate and not thinking straight at all, just attempting to kill Mei had several kids killed. So by the end it will be only Mei standing, not knowing what happened because on the way there the dead will likely kill itself while attempting to kill Mei.

I liked how MC defended Mei at least.

I had a lot of fun watching this episode.

So, how did the glasses girl die? The cables didn't go around her head. She basically hanged on the jaw alone. That should be quite easy to get off from. And yeah, why did the owner lady go ballistic too?

And while I was waiting for the students to go running like zombies and moaning hjarnor I can understand why they went insane. It wasn't that unrealistic.

And Misaki probably went somewhere to leave a message for Sakikabara about who is the dead one and then she'll attempt suicide.

Oh, and Sakakibara has some hard balls (or he doesn't have them at all). He recovered pretty quickly from this knee shot.

I'm more interested in knowing why only the dining hall was ablaze, and not the entire building, especially after that flash-over Edit: backdraft, given that the fire had been burning for a while, and the building is largely made out of wood (or at the very least has a wooden interior).

And I hope that Mei survives and doesn't kill herself, like I'm kinda expecting her to.

The dining hall was ablaze, but we don't know what kind of material was used to build the building, it seemed old, so maybe bricks, if so, the fire had an obstacle and everything in the room was closed, and fire in a closed room is much more dangerous than in a building that it has free access to any room to spread, the temperature builds up and as soon and a window or door are being opened, it's like a firestorm and the temperature is incredibly high. That is probably the only death that makes sense in this show so far, everything else was hilariously implausible.

Yes there was, but I'm not so sure that the entire building was wooden. At any rate, if the dining room was built differently it would explain the backdraft, but if it's all wood, then this is yet another silly shit shown in anime

When I saw it, it seemed to be mostly wood and metal. But if every single door and window was closed in the dining hall, the fire wouldn't spread unless a door was opened. You also have to remember, people are dying in ridiculous ways because the dead are willing it. It doesn't have to be very realistic, it just has to be possible. If it's possible to kill someone some way, the dead will make it happen.

Also, what happened to the librarian and the weezing kid? They were shown briefly in the beginning but weren't mentioned at all later on. I wonder if that'll be important in the next episode.

I though it was pretty clear, they are driving to the hospital. Unless something important happens to them they won't be really shown much, they were only shown for the formality that they are still there.

going against you guys, i'm gonna say that i think most of the deaths so far a pretty plausible, if extremely unlikely. I'll just mention the latest one's since i can;t remember all of them.

Brake failure on a truck is not that uncommon, some frequently used trucker roads even have side filled with gravel tracks dubbed 'suicide tracks' that trucks can drive onto if there brakes fail. It happening in a city while stationary is of course, extremely unlikely, but he could have also just been a complete idiot and left the handbrake off.
The guy who died in the sea, delayed concussion is actually really common, maybe not that delayed, but still plausible. And there is a reason why many lakes have strings of buoys around there designated swimming areas, so people don't get hit by boats.
While it did seem a little ridiculous that that girl got hung up on the wires, it would be extremely hard for a panicking, half crazed girl to life her own body weight up off them with her only leverage the wires themselves. Even if they didn't strangle her with their placing, they could have easily snapped her neck.

Tell me any other deaths you're confused about, and i might try to explain them. I just started watching this again and got up to date in that same day, so i can say i think its pretty awesome atm

Wires is completely off since her head constantly is fixed in a solid state, if you are hanged on wires, even after death, your body would relax and you would fall off in that position she was in, however her head remains constantly in the same position, regardless of what is going on making this death complete bullox.

The truck driver went out for a vending machine fun, he obviously left the handbrake open, which is why we doubt that death, no logical truck driver in a city leaves a car without handbrake on lock, it's in the veins.

the Girl who leapt through window has left her body in a very inelegant manner, considering the rapid death she received her body should fall overand not remain in a slutty manner as she was. I read this as personal hate towards her form the studio guys. If so, I support it

The elevator death is probably the most memorable, and most impossible when physics are in the works, I know, we shouldn't involve real life physics into an anime, but what they shown is complete bullshit. When she is falling inside the elevator that is falling, with he head being the highest point in the elevator and the moment of the slam, her head miraculously slams the floor ? that's a breaking point in physics,  since you can clearly see that at the moment of impact her legs are still where they were when the elevator was falling.

Umbrella Corp(se), as we see her losing balance on the stairs and the umbrella falling and opening, with her body being still up in a fairly safe distance, we see the next scene showing her looking into the needle of the umbrella, the viewer is expected to believe the point of penetration would be the eye, but instead we see her entire body hanging on her throat pierced by the needle of the umbrella, with her feet fairly high on the stairs. How come they make umbrella's so damn fucking tough in Japan ? it should have collapsed under the weigh of the body, seriously, I want THAT umbrella!

Bloody Beach Volley Ball game, how did the ball menage to get THAT far in 4 seconds ? And how come the life guard is so close to the beach on his motor boat and WHAT THE FUCK IS HE DOING not watching where he is going to ?
It was explained the victim had a concussion but that does NOT explain how he was slaughtered, that Life Guard just did reverse life Guarding.

Seriously ? just like that ? it looked like drug poisoning, I seen drug poisoning and overdose first hand, and I seen 4 heart attacks. THAT was not a heart attack, not even a heart failure, if someone has a weak heart, and has a heart failure, the heart just stops, there is no convulsion, no pain from heart. victim of such a thing simply faints after feeling unwell for a bit. If that was a heart attack, then I congratulate on a heart attack at this age, no matter how weak your heart is, that was drug overdose.

The Slasher Teacher Blue:
His bag was having a lot of killy killy tools or that was the heaviest knife in the history of kitchen knives.
More so even when he stabbed himself in the artery he should nearly instantly fall from blood loss because the brain has no blood source at this point, so any action they showed the teacher doing is FALSE and IMPOSSIBLE.
I judge that was the artery from the blood color, if it was a vein, then OH MY GOD! he should have been dead years ago!

The cliff Ride was fairly plausible but it was outside of the town, still, something like this killing someone is insane. The first thing people do when something hits their front window is HIT THE BREAKS!
I thought Japanese were better drivers, I was wrong.

I probably missed one or two deaths. But those are all just shitty and fairly possible in most cases if Japanese are completely stupid meatbags.

you've kind of just explained why they are all fairly possible, if we add the fact that this is an anime so it over-exaggerates some things and the curse is working alongside these incidents to make sure things go down as it wants them to. they're not just random deaths

I must agree with everyone on this though, i really hope Mei doesn't kill herself, and tries to explain to those that are still alive why she's not dead. Maybe if she uses the speaker phone like that girl did, but to defend herself, it might work better than shouting it out when they're just about to kill her (which wouldn't work at all)

I am not impressed ... the conclusion should have been hugely emotional but for me it wasn't, I felt completely disinterested by then due to the stupidity going around ... (f.ex. calmly making a call will completely surrounded by fire?? COME ON ...)

I'm willing to give 5/10 because Mei is kinda cute, but The hottie got killed so it was a turn off. I really hoped for Mochizuki, sly guy weaseled himself out of it.

I laughed so hard at the last episode. Few of the scenes looked like they could have been taken from any japanese video game. The mansion inside could have easily been any of the resident evil game fires. Exactly the same background. 

But what the fuck, the people are inside a burning manor without coughing even once due to smoke. Nice lungs they've got. Also, apparently it is cold enough not to even sweat. Not to mention lacking oxygen and passing out or even feeling dizzy. Just amazing.

First of all, it was an outside solution, which is never good. You want to audience to have that AHAAA! moment, which you miss when you do it like this.
Only clues being the old man mumbling about poor Reiko once, which, according to the lore, should not be possible because all memories were supposed to be perfectly altered anyways.
And some offhand mentions that there were the right amount of desks in the class that year.
Second, way too many people dead in a ridiculous way. No effect on anything.

PS. It took me 12 episodes to realise Reiko and Ms. Mikami are the same person. Lol at anime faces, they look the same so you identify people by hairstyles.

PPS. Why was the dead person visible on Kouchi's mom's classpicture, while it wasn't in their own in the end?

And considering the help for next year, if they had any real intension of helping, they should use the girl's vision to just check out who it is.
