I'm really into horror and suspense filled anime, but there isn't much to pick from that's worth while.
This is one of those few shows that rustled my jimmies. Higurashi's up there too... but that's because murderous lolis are undeniably scary.

Don't expect too much from Umineko though. It's nowhere near as good as Higurashi (or Another) in my opinion. The anime adaptation anyway.

The game isn't much better too, but as far as gruesome deaths go, I'd say it goes that way as well.

But Higurashi is the best.

As for the OVA, Damn, Mei looked so happy.

Mei being all lively and cheerful was quite a contrast to her, demure, silent and withdrawn self we've come to know in the original anime. Just goes to show you that Misaki's death had an enormous impact on her and probably scarred her for life, especially since she saw it coming (which makes her attitude in the show even more understandable).

I liked the throwback to the first episode, where Mei and Kouichi first met.

Yeah they did that well, it was a really enjoyable anime. did it in one sitting without eating or drinking because i was so hooked.

Yea I don't know if I can take this shit, I've barely survived the first half of the first episode. I've adjusted the speaker system to theater settings and got more central sound and deep bass, all lights are turned off ... only thing I see is the monitor ... ffffff

At some points it's just creepy like hell. Sometimes I even closed my eyes cuz of fear.. And at that I was all alone at home.. I was constantly hearing some sounds believing that somebody will kill me any moment now X___x but I enjoyed this series.

Floor 4 is missing on the elevator ... that's fucking creepy. Those dolls are creepy ... when he mentioned her name during the gym class and the girl was like about to go haywire, that was creepy ... class 3 is very close to death? don't talk to her? he'll know soon? class is hiding something from him? ...

Just watch it!!! You'll see how creepy it is after you see... Ok watch the 3rd episode and check the spoiler. I wan't to know your opinion about that.

Ok Nodame .. but ... I'm getting really chilly thing on my spine, episode 2 when the nurse is about to tell him ... something, I don't know. The noises ... that fucking doll, ... this is creepy as hell. I don't want to watch but I can't stop.
