For example (click to show/hide)They had no reason not to tell the main character about the "curse" and Mei being "nonexistant." Granted that them not telling him adds to the mystery of the whole thing, and that it didn't matter in the end since he wasn't responsible for triggering it, but it still seems unrealistic.
Similarly, the characters seemed way to carefree during certain points. If they were "trying to enjoy themselves and forget about the problem" then it would have been fine, but it really looked like they were just having fun.

I am like 99% sure they explain that to Kouichi. I can't remember the reason though.

(click to show/hide)I thought they stated something about him being the supposed dead one and therefore avoided him.
--- End quote ---
(click to show/hide)Wasn't it just that, by telling him, they would be admitting to Mei's existence - and thus breaking the charm? It'd be safer to not say anything about her existence at all if they could possibly get away with it.

I guess that was part of it too.
Long while since I watched through it.

Now that you mention it, I am pretty sure that was the reason.

Hmm, I came across a post/article that the Another Light Novel (the original work) was actually based on a true story. Anyone know anything about it?
