Yeah, Shiki started off creepy and got stupid quick. This is way better for sure.

I don't know how you got the idea that grandpa was even aware of Mei's existence. They're talking about Kouichi's mom Ritsuko who presumably died a few years ago.

1. It's terrible music
2. It doesn't fit at all with the OP animation
3. It doesn't fit at all with the story
4. It doesn't fit at all with the music in the rest of the show
They should have put in some doom metal for the OP.
