Dude! wheres my application?
kitamesume:
^ which Win7 to be precise? pro or home? maybe those cracked ultimate?
cracked version of some OS sometimes got some crack in the head too, viruses even. (a bad pun...)
well personally it would happen on me once or twice in a week, i`d just end task it and reopen the file, it`ll then work.
try this trick:
properties the main exe for the game
on general tab, uncheck "read-only" and "hidden"
on compatibility tab, uncheck everything except "run this program as an administrator"
on security tab, edit "everyone" and tick "full control [allow]" (sometimes its grayed out, meaning theres a settings on your control panel limiting your access)
and done.
the reason for this one is that those checkboxes might be restricting the file and/or it failed to update because the checkboxes does not allow it to be modified.
Lupin:
do you have any virtual drives installed? daemon tools, etc?
uninstall all of those and remove any stray registry entries.
I don't know if the game uses some sort of copy protection but there are some that check for installations of virtual drives.
