NekoEternal:
So, i have a 100mbps line (upload), which works out as around 12mb/sec~.

However, seeding 10 of the most active torrents seems to only give me 0-10kb/sec per torrent.

Is this normal?

(Windows 7, uTorrent, firewall open, 150 upload slots, uncapped upload speed)

Tatsujin:
I'm drinking some coffee while reading your post. Delicious.

You posted in the wrong section and didn't read the rules. Educated yourself. -winks-

I'm gonna finish this coffee now ...

Mirgond:
Apart from the already mentioned stuff, do your math:

For every torrent calculate the following number:

Leecher / Seeder

If the number is much below 1 you won't get that good speeds.

kitamesume:
at best you could get about 20-30KB/s on a [1leech : 3seed] ratio, usually 10-20KB/s on a 1:4 is normal.

btw you'd normally see 1:10 on BBT, rarely see some go below 1:5.

NekoEternal:
Thanks for the warm response or whatnot.

Admittedly I did indeed not read any rules, though it seemed like a relatively harmless question, it doesn't really impact me if I'm uploading slowly, It's more that I wanted to contribute, I merely wanted to know if I had set-up something wrong.

As far as posting in the wrong section goes, I considered putting it in the section marked for up-loaders, but I had just previously skimmed over something about power-up loaders or something similar stating it was some kind of account privilege, and apparently miss-interpreted the forum header as being only for those level of users, it doesn't seem unreasonable that "The place for Uploaders/Power Uploaders to get approval for items they are unsure of." could be misinterpreted as somewhere not intended for general topics, thus the choice of "A relaxed place for people to chat. Less serious topics go in here."

But thanks Mirgond and Kitamesume, I got the idea, look for relatively dead torrents if I wish to contribute.
