Requesting a series Help
« on: September 14, 2011, 04:00:19 AM »
Can someone please upload a torrent for "Igano Kabamaru".
It is such a great series yet it can't be found nowhere on the web.  ;D

Are you kidding :(? Raws and Greek dubs are not accepted on BakaBT.

Erm no.  I was actually meaning an english sub.

Also if someone could upload "Tokimeki Tonight" with english subs that would be great.

Seems like your best bet would be to wait for Saizen. Even though it's been a while since their last release they usually come back to a series eventually.

That's not how this board works. You can only request works that have already been translated to English by fansub/scanlation groups etc
And even though we feel dead inside, we can still say, "At least we tried."

Oh well I wasn't aware that it hadn't been translated by one.
It seems a bit strange that a series ranked so highly on "My Anime List" hasn't been fansubbed.   :o

It's a scoring aberration. Its high ranking can be chalked up the fact that it's only been seen by a small/dedicated fanbase that are likely to rank it highly. With only 1353 members voting for it, it's definitely an anomaly in an area of the rankings dominated by titles with at least 5,000 votes. Most of the upper-echelon titles have 10000, 50000, or even more votes. You have to go all the way down to #167 to find an anime with a similarly low vote count (1399 votes). The next title with fewer votes is ranked #397 (777 votes).

So basically, high ranking on MAL and other sites does not ensure that a title is popular or well-known enough to be subbed.

Got any old fansubs on HDD/DVD/CD? Please take a look at this thread.

If you're ever not sure if something's been subbed you can easily check AniDB :)
