I pity you guys who live in humid areas. Cold + humidity = terrible.

Today's low was 3C, high was 16C. Felt good to walk out into 3C temperatures after a long night of floor hockey.

I just went for a run in 10C weather with a t and shorts, feels sooooooo good.

I'm gunna leave you anyway.

Not looking for winter at all. Last year we had too much snow. If we get the same kind of winter we had last winter I'm going to move for sure. I cant stand the snow. Yeah it's nice to watch it snow when you are inside but driving in it and just feeling the cold isn't something I like to do. I rather it be hot side. At least I can go to the beach or just relax at the pool.

No skeeters.  No black flies.  No yellow jackets.  No fish flies.  No no-see-ums.  No bugs.
This is great!

Then don't bike?

Seems like a sound solution to me.

I hear buses are pretty cool if they come by you. If not, I understand.

Busses are horribly expensive to travel around with.

And besides, I'd lose my main source of exercise.

Yes. This.

No. Not this. At least around here, frozen stuff falling from the sky turns all drivers, both in car and otherwise, into geriatrics. I love to look at snow, but I hate the fear it seems to make in people. As if snow that melts before it hits the ground will make you slide into the nearest poll or off the next bridge.

Do you guys not have Bus passes?

Running is a fun alternative, but if you like biking then that works too=)

Turned on the heater at work today since it was 1C in the morning. Smelled like an overheated hair dryer for like 2 hours.

Bus passes are horrendousily expensive.

Running is not an option for me. I can't run for more than like 500 meters and then I'd have 6.1 kilometers to go (and I'd end up walking far slower after running).

Here, the assholes in the student union made buying a U-Pass mandatory. I forget if it was 95 or 115 per semester. I just grumbled that the SU were a group of fucking retard leeches who had no idea how to make good use of their yearly budget. I know another institution I used to attend charged 127 for it, but you could actually opt out. For 4 months, it's not a bad deal. But I drove. So fuck those leeches.

I went out earlier to get some food late at night. I wore 2 shirts (one light, one heavy). A T-shirt, a heavy sweater and then my long coat. I looked so fucking fat with all of those things on me.

Best thing in the winter is a hot sweet tea in the morning ... aaahhh ....

NO!

Cider wins your sweet tea any day! I even have the option of adding whiskey.

Haha, I saw "Getting Cold" as the topic, and I didn't think of the weather.

Duly noted.
