Ah well. The bus pass for citywide travel costs me 6 euros a month. So it's not really an issue to me.

Also, on the note of Student unions making you buy bus passes, I have the same issue. And then they hold these "Drop Fees" rallies, which are fun as HELL. But your tuition increases at 3% per year, while inflation increases at a bit over 3% per year, so the math behind it makes me upset.

Also, if you like Earth Porn(Huge landscapes that look amazing), watch the Snowboarding Art Of Flight Video, it's great for that. I don't even like snowboarding and I couldn't stop watching the full hour of it!

The student union at the College I went to was good. They'd go and be like, "Tuition is going to go up regardless guys. Let's be reasonable and try to ask them to increase by 2% instead of 3, or see if they can lower the cost on other options. We can get the student body to vote too if there's more than 1 option."

In university, the stupid "kids" at the "SU" run around going, "OMG WE HAVE 1 million dollar budget! What do you think we should do with it?" Then spend most of it subsiding a fucking beer day at the end of the year. My college (now a university) took that budget, and said, "We're going to spend little in the next few years. We are going to invest." They bought the cafeteria wing and now collects rent from the college. They also own several businesses too. IIRC they at least own an insurance business. Offering discounted insurance to alumni, cheap insurance for current students and decently priced insurance for regular people.

But at least I get half a day off from work.

I can't remember the last time I had an actual fever though... maybe 5+ years ago?

I had a cold a little while ago, I just slept for like 13 hours and woke up with the shakes, then slept for another 5 hours. Got up, went for a run, coughed up a lung and then I was fine.
It sucked.

I'm also one of those types that gets sick only once a year. So when I get sick, it hits hard because it has to really beat me up to get in in the first place.

Yeah, I'm pretty much the same in that I only get sick once or twice a year (spring, autumn or both).

It's currently 720ish and 7C which isn't too bad, would e nicer if it wasn't windy, but it's actually not too bad.

It's windy here. Without wind I can stand a lot colder temperatures.

Indeed, most temperatures are bearable when wind is not a factor.

funny thing is it got all hot all the sudden since two days ago and it will be hot till next week wed. but its cold during the night.

The weather down here in West Australia is just nice right now.

Looking at temps between 20' C and 25' C for the next few days, with a few showers.

I'd be quite happy if it stayed that way right through summer, I'm not looking forward to the many days when it will be over 35'C.

Rainy and windy as hell here today. Started yesterday and it's gotten steadily worse. It was actually loud enough to wake me up several times last night. Heh, the weather man on the local news just said, "Some people are swimming in their back yards, and they don't even have a pool."

Good day to stay inside and watch stuff or play games all day, but I should probably get out and go grocery shopping or at least buy gas & lottery tickets. Surprisingly, there isn't a huge cold front coming in behind the rains.

Yesterday it was pretty bad, 31 m/s wind bursts and rain so heavy that you could not see further than like 50 meters.

You could say that it was freezing outside (such a delightful time to be working outdoors).
