I did that too. But less because of the cold (though it was bloody chilly today), and more because there were loads of students partying in the courtyard right outside my bedroom window until 4am, so I was too tired to get up -_-

But we're really beginning to feel the chill now here. I can't walk to lectures without a jumper and a coat on now; just a few days ago I was still able to go out of the house in a t-shirt, but not anymore :(

I wonder if it'll snow this year. Normally everything just kind of freezes solid, but we get hardly any snow at all. Maybe an inch or two for a couple of days each year, but rarely much more than that.

That is kinda annoying I must agree. The weekend starts on Wednesday Night for my University it seems.
That used to be the case, but because I moved away to University, it's a lot different.

I'm gunna leave you anyway.

Been wearing my toque and puffy jacket for the last couple of days...

I feel like I should start wearing my gloves now too.

I own a pair of deerskin work gloves "suitable" for up to -10c. They're super soft and comfy. It's great.

They're work gloves only because they're deerskin leather. Every other aspect of it just portray the awesomeness of thinsulate clothing.

Shouldnt that be "for temperatures as low as -10c"?  :P

Or suitable to -10c. :P Sorry, funny wording. But they use similar wording when talking about sleeping bags.

This is what I own. I paid probably less than half of what they're charging here. I think it was like 48 CAD for 2 pairs. <3 Costco. :) OMG they're yellow! FUCK YES they're yellow. They're not overbearingly warm either, so you can easily wear these in like +15c weather and not feel uncomfortable with them on. I call them, "The Fists". Can't help but make fists when wearing these.

lol. You'd have to wear to believe. These are just as comfortable as mid to high end gloves. The thinsulate lining is especially soft and warm. I let people try on my gloves quite frequently and their expressions are that of surprise to how soft and warm it is inside and the ease of movement when wearing them. It's deerskin, not something harder like cowskin. Lambskin is probably the only thing I can think of that's similar that would be softer than this.

Definitely a "try to love" sort of ideal.

Another similarity would be a trapper hat. People make fun of them, but when they try them on... omg, so warm, soft and comfy. Too bad they're so expensive. :(

Yeah they look a lot closer to the gloves I use to weld.. they are pretty stiff and unwieldy. But they are also cheap.
