But he DID admit it.

That's something, and hardly surprising, cuz she is what he said.

I wonder why he didn't rather say all that about Senjougahara. After all he actually saw her completely naked with all her curves back in the first ep of bakemonogatari.
For one thing, Tiff is not on any level what I would call a typical American.  She's not what I would consider a typical person.  I don't know any other genius geneticist anime-fan martial artist marksman model-level beauties, do you?

Besides, Hanekawa is hotter.

Got to say, Karen in a skirt surprised me.

I guess we can't ignore the part where Senjougahara literally coerced him into being her bf.

This is the first part of the arc, I am really curious about the next one now.

I'm more curious how Tsukihi (I hope I didn't get her name wrong) will "punish" them for having fun without her.

But seriously, if it wasn't for her interruption, I wonder if it would end up the way it was heading ...

Edit:
Or how long was she watching ...

So harem +1 heh

I wonder what Senjouhara would say about this *g*

"I may not seem it, but I'm quite tolerant regarding adultery. So regardless of what you play, with whom, that is your choice.
But if any of it ever gets the slightest bit serious, I'll kill you."

While she said this before I guess it's all about what her definition of "slightest bit serious" is

Well, officially this was a game, so Senjougahara doesn't have a say. Not anyone's fault that this has become so erotic.

It's like Twister being a family game.

Heavy brushing has now replaced heavy petting in most areas this episode was seen.
Timing is everything in comedy!

More like, massacre incoming.
That can when Tsukihi comes back, since Karen said they still have a few minutes before she comes back.
That was actually very funny episode, I can't get enough of it.

Part of me doesn't want this show to ever stop :)

Yes ep8 was the greatest thing ever. Lots of people are complaining about it with their "eew im dropping nisemono blah"... I watched it 3 times already. No haters here luckily, we are all special super perverts :D

I wish each new *monogatari story would be animated right after the previous one ends so there would be no delay. God I cant wait for Kizumonogatari...

Agreed, it's awesome.
On the other hand I want to see what the little little sister will do.

Deserves a full re-watch several times, even after BluRays come out :)

He also admitted a few things about Hanekawa which surprised me a bit.

About Hanekawa, thats nothing compared to Kizu.. I cant believe they never hooked up between Kizu and Bake...

Judging from your posts I'd guess this is a must-watch anime, but I can't be sure, so directly to the question - is it worth picking this up (I haven't watched the prequel)?

Watch Bakemonogatari first, or this series will make no sense to you whatsoever. But both this and Bakemonogatari are, absolutely definitely, must-watch anime, for everybody with even the slightest bit of interest in comedy. I cannot recommend these shows enough.

Is the manga better or the anime?

There's a manga? AFAIK, there are only the anime and the series of light novels which they're based on. The LNs are good, from what little I've read, but they're mostly untranslated, and what translation there is tends to be a bit dodgy at times (as is fairly normal for Baka-Tsuki). The anime are probably better.

And agreed with Havok; the BDs are great. Really high quality stuff.
