As much as I don't kind  subs it does take my attention some away from the beautiful visuals. I plan to buy any of the series with a good bluray release if it's English or otherwise but man is my learning Japanese a slow process.
You should also work on your english some more, cuz I don't know how to interpret that post you made.
phone Swype fail lol sorry long story short I plan to get this on bluray English or not

Was there anything that had to be censored in the TV version?

I'm really anxious to watch this. I'd hate to have to wait for the blu-rays to come out just so I can see the naughty bits.

Maybe the chat with Shinobu, but other than that I don't think there was.

But it will be worth your while to watch the BluRays.

I was fairly disappointed with this show. And yes, I thought toothbrush episode sucked, hard.
The one thing I thought was cool was seeing an adult Shinobu.

There are quite a few scenes that were censored I guess. Like Kanbaru Suruga's backside and shinobu chat. Haven't really paid that much attention to other parts. If it's going to be a long wait, then I doubt it would be really worth it.

I feel like that was meant to be her as a teenager from the few flashbacks we have seen of her as an adult

That was Teenage Shinobu, and if you looked carefully, she looked exactly like Karen.

I was disappointed with this show, too.

Watching the first season was a decent amount more enjoyable.

Though honestly both Bakemono and Nisemono feel a bit like Mawaru Penguindrum. Not in terms of setting or similarity of characters. Well, there is a limited amount of that, that both series share....

But mainly, I mean in the sense that it feels like it's supposed to be a really good show... but when you actually get to the core of it, it's not actually that good. Great visuals and high production values oftentimes cloud objective assessments of the whole of a series. That's not to say it's bad. Far from it. It's just not that good.

Decent assessment, but I don't understand why he gave it an 8 at the end. With as many things as he pointed out, that should be a 7/10 at best.

Incidentally, I would roughly agree with that score.

Cute, huh?

A lot of people seem to expect something Bakemonogatari and Nisemonogatari aren't supposed to deliver. And that is why you don't enjoy it. You don't even seem to understand what the story is about.

I don't know what kind of deep meaning you see in the stories presented. I also don't care, because at best that would just be your interpretation of the events. The official view is what the author intended us to see. If it takes some borderline crack-addict mind set to see it (Mawaru... which by the way didn't even really have a complicated story in the first place... just buried as fuck), then it's not presented well.

Cute, huh?

There you go, you just proved it. There's no deep meaning and you're not supposed to look for one. The point is the way it tells a fairly mundane story.

Exactly, it's just another slice of life with odd beings and some moe, oh and making your sister orgasm with a toothbrush. Epix !
