I don't know what kind of deep meaning you see in the stories presented. I also don't care, because at best that would just be your interpretation of the events. The official view is what the author intended us to see. If it takes some borderline crack-addict mind set to see it (Mawaru... which by the way didn't even really have a complicated story in the first place... just buried as fuck), then it's not presented well.

There you go, you just proved it. There's no deep meaning and you're not supposed to look for one. The point is the way it tells a fairly mundane story.
