A lot of people seem to expect something Bakemonogatari and Nisemonogatari aren't supposed to deliver. And that is why you don't enjoy it. You don't even seem to understand what the story is about.

I don't know what kind of deep meaning you see in the stories presented.

There you go, you just proved it. There's no deep meaning and you're not supposed to look for one. The point is the way it tells a fairly mundane story.

It has high production values. I have already admitted that. I don't see what I "proved". I was hoping you could illuminate some obscure facet of the story that I had yet to see, rather than affirming what I saw as obvious.

Exactly, it's just another slice of life with odd beings and some moe, oh and making your sister orgasm with a toothbrush. Epix !

That's fine and all. That's why it gets a 7/10-ish (give or take 0.5). I'm not saying it's bad. I'm just saying it's not amazing.

Cute, huh?

From what I heard, Nisemonogatari wasn't meant to be really 'deep' anyway. While most other stories in the franchise are supposedly more serious, Nise is said to have been written with no real thought behind it and while it has obvious connection with its prequel, there isn't really much new we learn, apart from Tsukihi not being who she appears to be. But, Koyomi doesn't care, so in the end, we're back to where we started.

Still, it's amazing that the show is doing as well as it is. If this were any other show, it probably wouldn't sell as much, or at all.

Not only Koyomi, no one gives a shit about her real identity, she is His sister, and that's what matters to everyone.

I enjoyed Bakemonogatari, Nisemonogatari not nearly as much. Guess I'm not into the whole incest lolicon brutally honest unfaithful douchebag for a main character. Also not enough Senjougahara scenes, arcs lasted twice as long as they should have.

You can barely compare both seasons as the first one was interestingly harboring new concepts, had many arcs/stories and deep characters we'd get to know. Nisemonogatari was pretty much empty souls being brutally honest while doing lewd stuff.

It's as if the scriptwriter quit between the two seasons and they gave the contract to the voice actors : There, improvise in this room for 3 days or we kill your family. Then they recorded everything and promised the extra money to the animators for crazy facial animations.

They are based on LN by Nisio Isin, so unless Shaft changed a lot from the original there wasn't much they could do, but yeah Isin also admitted that he considered Nisemonogatari the worst vol of his monogatari novel.

Well initially, he didn't think the monogatari series would sell well.

So basically he wrote the second novel as a guilty pleasure for himself, hence the amount of fanservice.

Best scene : Toothbrush.

That alone is worth seeing.

You're like the spokesperson of Nisemonogatari. But yeah, the toothbrush scene is the highlight of the show.

I hates nise. It just seemed like a bunch of fan-service to me.

Though my member suffered at my hands at the toothbrush scene.

Yeah, it will be about a boy who meets a super natural girl and gets into some trouble :)
Cliche ? maybe, but damn they will also show Koyomi's sisters when they are younger, might be funny in some points :D

Anyways, I wil lre-watch Bake/Nise Monogatari later, cuz, you know, the lulz are just irresistible.

Oh I want to see all grown up Shinobu! Damn she looked so cool, beautiful, mysterious in the trailer.

And I'm really glad there will be Hitagi in the movie, cuz without her something would miss.

And as much as I got from the trailer movie will be a bit different from the series. Looks like it'll be all badass fighting, which makes it even more tempting.

Can't wait to watch it.

These two things are what I'm looking forward the most in the movie. Can't wait, I'm so excited!  ;D
