Btw, is the Kizumonogatari movie releasing before this? Probably not, because wikipedia says Nisemonogatari starts in January 2012, while Kizumonogatari just has its date as 2012 everywhere.

Yes, very much looking forward to this one, but at least the wait will give me a chance to get through my HUUUUUGE backlog of need-to-watch shows.

I guess I'm being slightly sarcastic, it's on my to watch list I've just got tons of other stuff to get through atm. But in all seriousness for most shows long haired chicks > short haired chicks, especially for the female lead. It just makes the show more enjoyable for me because I find girls with long hair more attractive (my opinion).

man first ep almost went nowhere, into reminiscing with hachikuji. i'm assuming Ararararararararara gi did something to be tied up in the old school. i thought they cleaned that place up or at least put the desks back. i dunno i thought the piled up desks were odd.

I rather think it's not because he has done something but to keep him from doing something. And it's not difficult not deduce it has something to to with the older little sister: Karen is out, the episode title is "Karen Bee", Senjougahara mentions "Fly like a butterfly, sting like a bee", she talks about the poison from a bee. Seeing Araragi is mulling over how maybe his family will be drawn into the oddities I guess that just what is going to happen ... and he won't be able to stay out of it on his own, Senjougahara knows that all the more, hence confining him "to protect him"

After 2 minutes I was completely sold, oh how I missed the Senjougahara / Araragi interactions!!

First episode didn't disappoint. Really made me realize how much I missed the series.

Looks like it's moving pretty quick at this point, but that's probably just to get Karen Bee moving along asap.
