^good for me :P
I don't really like watching TV rips.

Well, they haven't shown any signs of making any progress at all so far, so I wouldn't necessarily get your hopes up just yet. But I'm sure somebody will almost certainly do the BDs at some point.
I hope this doesn't end up like softenni :P

It's too popular for nobody to do a BD release at all. The only reason there were so few TV releases is because the dialogue is such a bitch to QC, let alone translate.

I got to know about this show through it's popularity... Although I would have heard about it when I would have watched bakemonogatari but it is lying somewhere in my endless to watch list. :P

Wait, you watched Nisemono before Bakemono? You strange, strange creature. Nisemono is a direct sequel to Bakemono, and Bakemono is much better anyway. Go watch it.

Suddenly, I don't feel like such a packrat anymore...  ::)

And yes, I'll join the crowd that insists you check out Bakemono and Nisemono (and Katanagatari if you're up for it; though this one is unrelated to the other two)

600 is as for today... check back on me a week later and it might be 650 :P
I'll probably download Katanagatari first since it is blacklisted and will lose seeds fast.... stuff on bakabt doesn't lose seeds fast so i kinda defer it all.

I wouldn't really recommend Katanagatari, to be honest. It has no real relation to the other two beyond the name (I think the book it was based on is by the same author, but you wouldn't know it), and it's actually not all that special. It's not bad, not by any stretch of the imagination - but it's hardly earth-shatteringly good, unlike Bakemono and Nisemono.

Just because something isn't earth-shatteringly good doesn't make bad to the point that it's not worth recommending. I enjoyed it because of the art style, because the soundtrack was done by the same guy that did the one for soul eater and gurren lagaan and because the character interactions reminded me of NisioisiN's other works.

Well, I guess it's a case of differing opinions. Personally, I wouldn't particularly recommend it (especially not in the same breath as bakemono/nisemono). I'll admit the art was very nice, but other than that it was completely uninteresting (for me). I just thought it was completely mediocre in almost every way. To the point that, personally, I do think it's not worth recommending.

But yeah; differing opinions. You obviously enjoyed it much more than I did, which is great. I must admit I went into it expecting something in a similar-ish vein to Bakemonogatari, so the disappointment when it wasn't probably didn't help my enjoyment of it either. Maybe I'll give it another watch at some point and see whether or not it's better than I remember.

I am archiving both the TV rip and the bd rip. since there are some major changes in bd and I don't like all of them.

Tell me the changes! (I thought they censored a lot of gore in the TV rip that we'll probably see in the BD)

But If you've seen some of the BD, I wanna hear the changes/ :)

I think you should try re-watching it after you have watched a shitty series. :)

I always thought that BD's had more content than the TV version since the TV version is censored. By changes do you mean there are some scenes in the TV rip that aren't in the BD?
