Thanks for subtly bringing us back on topic.

I wonder if we'll ever see an English dub of bakemono and nisemono...?

Not in the next 3-4 years atleast. It will suck though like almost all other dubs do.

I don't think they can justify it in any possible way, I mean, I heard many incredibly terrible dubs, but I don't see Karen's VA doing it right in english dub, unless it was the original Voice Actress from Japan, then, maybe, possibly, acceptable.

NOT GONNA HAPPEN!

Yeah, I kinda foresaw that reaction, but I had nothing else relevant to the topic to say.  :-[

No arguing there, both sisters are way too cute to pass up, I am envious of Karen-chan's boyfriend, the bastard is lucky.

I watched Nisemono for a continuation of the main plot, but all I got was fanservice and then a bullcrap ending. Though it was fantastic fanservice which I enjoyed thoroughly and acquired a couple new fetishes from.

About the thing about BD's is that many animation scenes were 'improvised'. Meaning they differ completely from the TV version. Check out Sankaku Complex to see those scenes. They have covered almost all BD's that are out there and the difference. Of course, the BD's are uncensored (there was some nice clever censoring in TV version, so you will get atleast one suprise or two).

Another reason I want to archive both TV and BD version is that the perverseness of this anime is already high as it is. I am not really sure I want to add even more to it. Also I prefer some of the TV scenes animation compared to BD version. This could be the main reason.

And the most stupid and viable excuse would be that 2-3gb of extra material ain't gonna hurt me in any way possible.

You've seen the BD? Who is doing them right now?

He probably must have seen the BD's Coalgirls were doing before dropping them as I checked 3-4 days ago and no one was doing them.

This belongs in the Bake thread, really, but because it's basically the same series and just different "seasons", I'll post it here. (Also Bake's thread has been dead since Feb.)

I'm sure some of you have seen this already, but if you haven't and you like this show, you'll probably enjoy this.

Don't worry, there are apparently no plans to produce an English dub for Bakemonogatari, and Nisemonogatari hasn't been picked up for a disc release by any NA company. So you can rest easy, no one will be breaking into your house and holding a gun to your head to force you to watch an English dub. (Of this or any show, really.)

Got any old fansubs on HDD/DVD/CD? Please take a look at this thread.

Looking at Nisemonogatari's content, I don't think any NA company is going to pick that up XD

(Nobody picked up Yuru Yuri for crying out loud)
