Reloading, iron sights, crouching and bullet spread also increase realism. So what you're saying is that a game either has to be Quake or ARMA, there can be no middle ground.

Fail in your game comparison. Stop putting words in my mouth. I never said OTHER games can't have sprint, but it's ok if you don't have reading comprehension. I (as in me, myself, I, TMRNetShark, Tamarin, *insert real name*, myself as a specific human being in this specific body) do not like sprinting in videogames. You can give the option to other people, but don't force me to use it.

Nobody said anything about getting into position being the only thing that matters in the game.

It's becoming clear that you're trolling, and by trolling I mean you're deliberately posting idiotic gibberish to generate replies and drag this out.

--- Quote from: dubyaninja on September 20, 2011, 11:47:20 PM ---It increases your speed so you can get from point A to point B faster, and it makes you slightly harder to hit. As a CS player you really should understand the value of getting into position as quickly as possible.

--- End quote ---

And as a CS player who has seen CS players who are vastly better than myself will never place value in rushing to "get into position".

Then again, your too stupid to realize that it is simple. You can have sprinting in a video game... just don't force me to use the mechanic in a gun fight. It's as simple as that. If you go on about realism and all that jargin, then be my guest.

BACK on topic:

I see no one voted for Assassin's Creed? Does no one like Ubisoft anymore? I mean the "always" online DRM was a real sting to legitimate customers, but I thought there was a lot of Assassin's Creed fans (I guess they all went to consoles that have no DRM XD).

It does look like Skyrim is the most popular... but I'm afraid it's just gonna become a port to PC because they've only shown 360 footage of it *goes to check*. Yep, there doesn't seem to be PC footage for it... -.-

I would vote for AC:R but I only have one vote :(

Dark Souls releases tomorrow in Japan, and according to Japanese blog Esuteru, gamers with an early copy are in for a surprise.

In order to punish those who have the game early, From Software will take advantage of a feature that allows players to move into other worlds. The publisher has sent max-level Black Phantoms into the worlds of early gamers, confronting them with an enemy that's impossible to beat.

...the Phantoms are level 145, with 1900 HP and every stat set to the maximum of 99. There's no word on if the enemies will be removed upon the game's official release.

I totally want to see a video of someone beating them at level 1, you know it will happen.   8)

I've seen a lvl1 gnome warrior killing an 85lvl tauren warrior, true, the tauren was asleep by the time his hp went down to 80%, but hey, he killed it :)

Is there any way for me take back my vote for BF3? I voted before they released the beta.

Ah, who cares? Skyrim has the most votes. I just hope the PC version is as bug free as possible. I mean, I doubt it... but it'll be fun playing when modders get their hands on the modding tools.

AceHigh:
I would cast my vote for Skyrim as well. After all for a sandbox games, Bethesda does a good job, even if it is built on a horrible game engine.
