What better way to get attention then with naked girls. That has be PETAs been campaign for a while now. I understand sex sells, but it seems completely retarded to me to try to demonize the exploitation of one thing by exploiting another.

That said, I dont like people wearing fur either, but its mostly because I think it looks dumb.

Do you think it's freedom of speech to throw paint on someone's brand new $1000 fur coat? I don't know about you, but I know there are some Texans somewhere that will shoot a person because they threw paint on them. Maybe not kill them, but they will definitely lose a toe over an animal that is already dead. :P
I never said that. I think that sort of thing is incredibly retarded.
I was just saying that I think fur coats look dumb, but I would never harass someone over it.

But really hard to understand is that PETA seems to have no problem with leather, only fur...

I was just making a segway into that question... I wasn't accusing you of saying that. :P

Depends on the leather... There is fo-leather that is most commonly used as an (cheaper) alternative to real leather. That, and fo-leather lasts twice as long as regular leather.

You mean faux-leather?

Oh wait, I forgot you come from a place where "Freedom Fries" was used because of a certain dislike of a country. Statue of Liberty? No, no, she's been Americanized. She's second or third generation by now.

Ive never eaten a freedom fry, if that was ever true, it did not last long and sure as fuck is not current.

Aside from that- No shit things are going to be Americanized. Same with damn near everything in the world. Its fitted towards its people.

What? We are supposed to call the statue of liberty "that present from the French?"

I like pushing TMR's buttons from time to time.

I was being a dick for dicks sake.

A little classical music to calm your fury. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGdFHJXciAQ&feature=related

I really hate PETA and Greenpeace. In Jr High, I knew someone who distributed PETA flyers and publications of skinned cows for McDonalds and whatnot. I hated that chick. She was also highly insane (like literally) so everyone avoided her. It didn't help though, since she would have her monologue outbursts as to how the world was evil and veganism was a solution for half of the evils of the world etc.

I'm totally gonna check that site out. There's no way I could not. It might horrify and appall me, I will feel bad for seeing it, I will probably fap to it at some point and feel guilty about it. But that's how the internet rolls, and you've got to roll with it.

And ONN is awesome.

Hey, over here they pay extra to oxidise copper so it will become green. It's like paying for rust!  ;D
For one thing, Tiff is not on any level what I would call a typical American.  She's not what I would consider a typical person.  I don't know any other genius geneticist anime-fan martial artist marksman model-level beauties, do you?

I don't have anything against people promoting veganism. But I am strongly in favour with the use of animals in laboratories.

 Human right > Animal right
Don't just assume that you are right. Verify with the best tools available and if you are wrong, change your mind and you will become right.

Hum? No, not really the America insult. Mainly the patronizing part.

Ha ha ha. Sounds like a pair of jeans. People pay extra to have them wear out/fade before they are purchased.

Learn to patronize better... that completely flew over my head... thus making the patronizing useless. :P

People pay extra to have them wear out/fade before they are purchased.

A fact that truly amazes me. I find a hole in my pants and I immediately replace them, but people seem to like the look. Just go to a consignment shop or thirft store, and pick a used pair up there.

On that subject, which is very much off subject, I recently purchased two very nice jackets at Goodwill for $5 each. One was a Seville Row so new that the threads hadn't been removed from the pockets!

On subject, so the mods don't start picking up their tools, I agree with those who say that writing to a congressman is useless. Unless you put in a few thousand dollars and a plane ticket ot paradise in the envelope, they won't listen, and internet partitions are pointless.

[edit] oops, wrong subject.

The arguments made to the tune of "well women choose to be degrade so its okay" probably wouldn't make those same arguments about other issues. Would they say "well women in {pick a Arab country} choose to be degraded because of their beliefs"? I think not.

At least Turks know how to control their government... which is more than most "civilized" countries can claim.

If you think Turks are stupid... it's cool. I can also make baseless arguments too. I choose not to out of fear that Burk will come out of no where with a wiki article saying I'm wrong. :P

Alas... both mgz AND fohfoh don't know what patronizing is.

Then again, I'm not as superior as mgz or fohfoh. They shit on me and everyone else here all day long. Why? Because they have superior knowledge that us humble internet idiots cannot fathom. They both know that ALL of America is redneck... they have that tingly feeling in their penises that tells them so. None of us can ever question them... their e-points are over 9000! Well... mgz still has some catching up to do. But they are better than us because they've wasted more time on the internet than we have... and because of that... WE SHOULD BOW DOWN TO THEM.

And that is how you patronize... questions?  ::)

Haven't you heard? The secular Turkish military lost all their influence and the islamist government now has the army under control. Turks will revert to savagery of the middle east, or actually that is an ongoing process, so your claim is outdated.

You've never heard that joke before?

Haven't you heard? The secular Turkish military lost all their influence and the islamist government now has the army under control. Turks will revert to savagery of the middle east, or actually that is an ongoing process, so your claim is outdated.

This clearly means you don't understand the Turkish military. There were already arrests that had happened of a plot to overthrow the government. To say that there aren't enough Turks in the military still plotting (there is will over a million members of the TAF) is a disrespect to Ataturk's name. EVERY Turk stays true to Ataturks words and his constitution of secularism. If Turkey ever does turn into an Islamic state, then watch out government... cause the military is coming.

Oh yeah... a million plus TAF doesn't lose it's influence to some politicians and his person armed guard. :P
