The question is " Will it be enough to make up for all the guys who gets the urge to eat a juicy steak for their trouble?"

I wish I ate more steak, it's just so expensive(good cuts) and a pain to cook in a frypan.
Honestly though, I know someone that became vegan, did it wrong and had to go to the hospital so I can't really say YAY! for it.

I'm not saying it's a good thing, just that it's PETA's goal and it makes sense from their point of view. Beside, if veganism is associated with some health risks, vegetarianism isn't. Of course PETA is promoting the first, not the second.

Hey I respect the attraction of both, I just don't think I could ever do it is all.

We do that often. It's great to live somewhere that's famous for beef, yet under recognized by the world because we're not big enough of a market.
<3 Costco for using local products.
40 bucks for a sirloin top chunk. Take it home, slice it into steaks... grill. This thing feeds my family of 4 at least 2 meals of "all we want to eat, steak". I'm talking like 14-24oz steaks too. Not wimpy 8-12oz sirloins they charge like 20 bucks for in the restaurants. I enjoy the occasional T-Bone steak as well. Though, overall, I can't personally justify the price difference to have a meat that's merely softer than sirloin.
PS: Our beef has a stronger beef flavor than I've tasted elsewhere in my travels.
We had a Texan come to our place, and we made the "in Texas, everything is bigger" joke. We did a steak bbq like normal and I cut my "normal" steak sizes (of approx 14-18oz). He thought that was a shitload of beef.
I likes my beef. I had a BBQ once, and using the above method, overall cost was 7 bucks per person. Meat was probably 3 of that. We had more than one of those chunks of meat, and one of my buddies (at the time dubbed, "The bottomless pit) consumed at least 50oz of steaks before tapping out. We made him a special one at the beginning (slow cooked on the BBQ to perfection because he was late) that was probably at least 30oz. He continued to consume 5-6 "mini steaks" afterwards and gave up stating he was too full to continue. PETA would have a field day at one of my BBQs. :)

Hey that shouldn't stop you! You can pic up a little coleman type charcoal grill for $20 at walmart. My apartment complex doesn't allow charcoal grills on decks or porches but I haggled with the landlord to let me use my little charcoal grill out on the lawn. Even a relatively cheap sirloin cut tastes delicious after grilling over charcoal.
