I have a dedi server with a datacenter... not using a SB provider...

Anyways,
Speed is around 8-12MB/s constant, upload probably around 1TB every 2-3 days.
2 *2TB drives and 8GB of ram with a dual core processor.

Server has been going for the past 6 months or so, never had a single issue with the provider.

Plus I have root access to the server.

I have two seedbox's from Seedunlimited. Both have been fine. One is a 100Gb one and the other is a 500Gb box. Everything is unlimited which means I can just set things to seed and forget about them. Currently sitting at 12Tb+ uploaded on BakaBT and a total of 27Tb uploaded when I combine both boxes. I pay £9.99 a month for the 100Gb and £16.99 for the 500Gb one. I'm in the UK but the servers are based in France.

lol, yes. The two that I used (PureTnA & Empornium) both went under, so I had to try new ones and my ratio didn't exactly leave much room to download whatever I wanted... I had some massive ratio on the others because I seeded 24/7 for years. Though to be honest, I'll pass what I had on those within a few days if I keep this up with this seedbox. Gosh, internet speed disparities are so unfair...

Yeah, but how much is the bill + the initial cost? Must be massive... (and I mean total, cause I don't have friends to split the bill with me :P)

The initial set up cost was expensive; around 400$ (I think).

Monthly cost is around 130$ (I'm using the server with a friend... makes it that much more cheap).

I've been with a few SB providers, the one provider I did like a lot is out of the game. I'm happy with my current server and the staff respond to tickets in a few hours (even during the week end) unlike some support I had with other providers.

Anyways, to each their own.
