Disney launches two new Android smartphones, mouse ears not included (WTF?)

Wasn't referring to a money issue. Wouldn't the problem lie more with bandwidth reallocation? Or spectrum selling? Or something along those lines?

They can buy the rights directly with the FCC but not sure how the laws work outside of the states. Pretty much its like renting a room. You pay so much per month. They can also tag alone another carrier like Verizon or AT&T. Many smaller providers do that (Virgin Mobile, Speak Easy, Boost Mobile)

Ah, makes sense. I believe that's what they do up here in Canada too. Other countries around the world, I'm not so sure.

But haven't all the other companies used up all the available bandwidth? I was under that impression, which is why I came to the conclusion that there would be some kind of reallocation needed.

FCC did free up a few when they forced all TV signals over the air be digital only.

i thought when frequencies were offered for sale its done like an auction

Disney already has its own by buying out ABC and ESPN
