A good Tablet for watching unconverted anime (.mkv,.avi, 720/1080)?

I don't know of any other players for Android/iOS/Kindle/etc which can do that (though I'm sure there must be a few by now).

MX Player supports 10-bit.
I watched Oreimo (http://bakabt.me/161799-ore-no-imouto-ga-konna-ni-kawaii-wake-ga-nai-720p-10-bit-ane.html)
I have the asus transformer prime.

I can't seem to get HW acceleration working in MX Player on my HTC Sensation. Always seems to fall back to SW mode which can be laggy.

I can get HW acceleration in Dice Player. It supports subtitles, but it doesn't keep/do the styles for subs.

Same here on Desire Z, no matter what rom I try, hardware in MX Player is choppy. However, since the phone doesn't have an HDMI output, I solved the problem by not watching HD on a 3.7" 800x480 screen ;)

True, but I'm not bothered to re-download or convert my 720p stuff. Dice Player plays 720p smooth in HW mode. Ideally I'd have an android app that does HW acceleration as well as SSA/ASS subtitles.

My motorola xoom decodes 720p mkv just fine.  And so does my blackberry playbook
