I've recently bought a Google Nexus 7 and it really eats up anime. With the latest MX Player 1.7 there hasn't been any anime (720/1080, 10bit) that hasn't played flawlessly. The only caveat is the 16GB memory. But this is easily remedied by rooting the tablet (takes about 10 minutes to root it, lots of guides on the net) and getting a OTG USB cable and a USB memory stick. This lets you mount the memory stick as an external drive. I have a 64GB memory stick so I have a total of 80GB of available storage.
I paid $250 US for the 16GB version. You'd be surprised how quickly 16GB gets eaten up by installing apps, games, music, manga, anime and movies. Having the extra space available from a USB stick really comes in handy when I travel.
im not surprised though, my playlist alone is 3.12gb, my 2x1TB is already full, my 500GB is already full. omg i don't have much freespace left =X
I have almost 100 gigs of just music so I am doomed to never fit my collection on an mp3 player. Fast forward to the future where we have global gigabit wifi so cloud storage will be viable

I've almost filled up 2x 2Tb drives. I either need to buy more HDs (they are still expensive), start burning (time consuming) or deleting (feels like a waste of bandwidth to delete them).

You're probably an Apple hater though, right?Though I recently upgraded my old 80GB iPod Video to 240GB. Well, I kinda broke it during the upgrade so I bought someone's half-dead 30GB and got that one to work with the upgrade. I don't see myself running out of space anytime soon, since my collection grows extremely slowly.

Doesn't seem like it should take more than a decade to implement in smaller countries.
