This is very timely... so when my contract is up next year... I can avoid buying the iPhone 5!

I actually legitimately understand why people like Apple products... especially the iPhone. If the iPhone 5 actually does something great over the 4 and the 4S (like actually support 4G)... then I'll probably be tempted to buy it and show it off.

Maybe I'll become an Apple fanboy... but I need to buy a mac for that to happen.

what I found strange was the estimated price, the 16gb is gonna only cost $199 and 32gb $299

though I guess those prices are ONLY INAMERICA! the prices in Europe will get at least tripled.

I heard the UK price was estimated at £600 or something, but I could be wrong. I expect the EU one wont be far off that...

That's why you should go with something else!=P As much as it's cool to show off an Apple product, if you get a good phone there isn't much it can't do better or as good as an iPhone, Samsung's Galaxy IIs for example looks amazing, along with a bunch of HTC phones. Even BlackBerry has some pretty nice stuff now, and I can't help to say that BBM is pretty sweet, especially if you text long distance to someone else with a blackberry,makes it WAY cheaper.

The last three models that Blackberry made... the 9780 Bold II (or three, I forgot which), then the 9800 Torch, and I currently own the 9700 Bold. Two of those phones are exactly the same (essentially). The other one is just a touchscreen version of the other two. Meanwhile, other companies that are using Android's OS are out of this world. People are even playing full video games on the go... anytime they want. They've basically combined what the Gameboy/DS/PSP do... with a phone that can surf the web, act as an alarm clock, and is your general portal to the world. Trust me, BB is way behind. All the Android based phones are miles ahead and are even a little ahead than the iPhone.

The new blackberry is out 9900 Bold. It is nice, but looks like they ripped of the iphone 4 steel rim bracket.
I can't help but look at these Samsung products and look at how they rip off apple designs from tablet to phone.

You've got the touch screen now added on. So you don't have to depend on the trackpad.

In all honesty, I doubt I'd ever get an iPhone, I don't like how they work and they cost way too much cause of their constant desire to be connected to the internet. Useful, but I'm a University student, I don't have the money for that right now=(

I was like that once. Then I got an iPhone 4. Now, they are acceptable. But I still hate the thing.

In my place where people are 'simple minded'. Iphone/Apple is a fashion trend or status symbol and the coolest way to connect on Facebook, they don't even care how old is the model as long as it is an Iphone that they can show off to anyone...ffff...So 4s has dual-core, I'm doing an Iphone game, I hope those game kits take advantage of having 2 cores.

Doubt it, one core will always have the iOS using it. You can use the other core to your heart's delight. (I doubt how it will actually be, but you never know.

AoD lags after a while. Too many enemies. There's only a handful of current games that will benefit from this.
