Wow .. Tattoos are disgusting and ugly. Over the years, they become uglier. You should be happy with the way your body looks like, if you wanna express yourself then do it in another way - personalize your phone, books, clothes, computers, car, room, etc.

There are a lot of people who don't see it that way... it's even a fetish or whatever you want to call it for guys. It's called suicide girls. Sexiest pornstars/adult actresses with tattoos that make them all that much hotter.

It's up to everyone what to do with their own body, if they want to have tattoos on their body they're free to do so. Just as you're free to dislike them. Though some people are quite distasteful with their tattoos, I can agree with that.

If I didn't have a family, had the money and didn't have such huge beard growth I'd have one.
A specific style of dragon that's tail ends at top of my heart and it goes around my neck rising it's head up into my left cheek.

I don’t have any tattoo. There were some times when I thought about getting one. But like some have already stated, if it doesn’t have any deeper meaning, then, what’s the point? It’s permanent (there’s a laser procedure, but if someone is making a tattoo already thinking about that, maybe they shouldn’t be making the tattoo to start with) so it should be something important.
So in general I have no problems with tattoos. When I see one I wonder what’s the stpry behind it.

I see a lot of guy with “barbed wire” or “tribal” tattoos walking around… do they thing that having one of those, I don’t know, gives them a bonus on toughness? It could be like that, if the tattoo was done without anesthetic or had some sort of symbolism or link to a group (only obtainable after having proven something, and not only having money).

Now, I’m quite hairy so I think my natural hairiness is good enough to express myself.

Thinking about my own gradually progressing hair loss, it makes me wonder how many people who've gone bald have gotten their scalp tatooed to look like they still had hair.
It took an hour to write; I figured it'd take an hour to read.

I fit into this category, though I wouldnt go so far as to say I have a fetish for them. I just think that tattoos can be really hot. It all depends on what they are, where, and the appearance of the person in question. Some people just dont look 'right' with them, and everyone has a limit between a good number and too much, though im told they can be addictive, and looking at some people I know it seems true. One tat turns into two and before you know it your running out of skin space. I cant stand people with cliche or meaningless tatts, but ive been known to drunkenly sneak photos of people with interesting ones. It all depends. There isnt one right answer that fits everyone. (no tattoos myself, but my mother, sister and gf has had some inkwork done, always with some meaning behind it, though I confess I have no idea the meaning of my sisters. I guess its personal and she wants to keep it that way...)

Dunno about that... But some women tattoo eyebrows on then pluck the shit out of them till they're super thin.

While I indeed have contemplated getting one a few times in the years past, I never really did. And it's good that I did not, I would have hated it by now.

Have 3 of them: a harpy on my right and kyuubi on my left shoulder blade and a snake with wings on my left leg near ankle. The oldest one is something like 8-7 years old, next might be 5-6 years old and the newest is something like 2-3 years old. Still love them all :)

I have come to conclusion that thinking to much about a meaning of a tattoo is meaningless. If it is important now, it will be reminder of that important stuff in the future (unless you tattoo some kind of name/portrait that is not your mothers or fathers or brothers/sisters), and one should never make a tattoo for someone else, these are the tattoos one regret (well the gang or specific group related ones also might be a problem).
I kind of do not get people tattooing words in foreign language, but there are different kind of tastes and people anyhow.

My wants another one, but have not met an image I like that much. I like to keep the image around at least for a 1/2 - 1 year before make it.

I've got no interest in getting one, I'm not a big fan of needles.

Plus I really don't think one would look good on me, and I have incredible fluctuations in body mass and stretched and then no longer stretched tattoos look god awful in my opinion. But yeah.

Needles</3

I'm gunna leave you anyway.

Why would anyone pluck their eyebrows?  *cringes*

And, no, I don't have one.  I've considered getting one though.

gah, to give them nice shape. Most females that care about their looks do that (and some that don't). Haven't seen female with naturally perfect eyebrows. It's not like they pluck out all of them. The ones who get bored of drawing on eyebrows tattoo them usually when they get older and don't have as much of that stuff as there should be.
Some females even tattoo their lips if they get bored of painting them on. Friend of mine did that, she did look funny for few days :D

i would like to get a tattoo but i cant think of anything good to get so until the time when i get something awesome to tattoo on me ill leave it be.

My brother has a pretty cool tat of 2 eyes on his back right around his shoulder blades that cost him about 400$ they were very well done though.

- And for tattoos i prefer to see black and white on ppl cuz i know color ones will be AWFUL looking in 20 years
