Does seeing a locked topic make you want to read it?
« on: October 11, 2011, 02:46:47 PM »
Personally I find myself opening locked threads that I would never even look into. If they're not locked do to moving, then who knows what kind of treasure you could find inside  ;D

Yep. Especially now they get highlighted blue when they're locked.

Depends on the topic and what part of the forum its in.
Like if its in the help section, I dont care, but if its in one of the general discussion boards I occasionally scan it to see if it was locked due to people being idiots.

One thing I hate about locked threads is when I miss my chance to troll the OP (Like the recent splurt of Osmo threads.)

I know right. The mods should put an icon over the thread that indicates it's going to be locked in 10 min. and then it could automatically lock or something.

Always, they're amusing usually

Yes, seeing a locked topic always makes me curious to find out why it has been locked.

Same as everyone else. Always check them first of all. Didn't notice the blue highlight. That sure helps.
Parts of it I admired greatly, parts I laughed at till my sides were almost sore;
other parts I read with absolute sorrow,  because I think them utterly false and grievously mischievous...

Psyren threads should be compiled and posted on the blog or something.  Those were always hilarious.

I sometimes read locked threads.  Depends on the title, who started it, and what subforum it's in.  There are a few subforums I never check here.
It took an hour to write; I figured it'd take an hour to read.

I can answer that question, it is The Road to El Dorado. Loved that movie when I was younger.

Best mod for locking threads, Psyren. I bet he wouldn't get on with his day without locking at least one thread.

Hm, I only look if the title is fun or it looks so innocent that it should not be locked
