Even the "How do I torrent? threads have potential for someone freaking out though. But it's true that they usually lack luster now.
Which is why we need an alert to the thread and a grace period for trolling the threads before they get locked.

IIRC, he was told to tone down and be more "pleasant". He refused, got in an argument with staff, was stripped of his mod powers, so he left the forums.

I have no regrets actually. they had it coming. I was simply stating what i thought about the situation and they just had to go on saying "OMG Y U THINK DIFFERENT?!". even after i said I'm dropping the subject as it has become pointless.

Actually I know the actor that is in the front ... he plays the lead in a long running Samurai Series called Abarenbo Shogun ... He also sings as well ... but not sure on what the video is about.

Sometimes in those locked threads, it's easy to notice certain individuals trying on purpose to get the thread locked. Like they decided to derail the thread, then crash it into a bin of unicorns and double rainbows.

1st and 3rd options are different because for someone like me, I ignore most of the threads here. I only look at a few threads, but the locked ones catch my eye.
The 3rd option is more for the type that reads everything, making the poll irreverent to them. But I didn't want to trap people into a strait yes or no option.
I guess I could have had the third option to be "I like Pie". And although I did strongly consider it, I didn't want to be answering questions about why someones penchant for pie is even in the poll.
