Really great first episode ;D, I was looking forward to this series, and it looks very promising so far.
The animations is indeed very nice, and the plot looks interesting.
Hopefully they keep it this good for 22+ episodes.
Cannot wait for the next ep.

No. I was thinking of it, but there's not much in the way of improvement from Commie - they're using the best station, and there is minimal localization that's going on (1 -san removed). However, I gotta say, this broadcast is severely bitrate starved and will benefit immensely once the BDs come out.

The screenshot comparison, makes me want to wait on the BD's, but finding out that it will be over 20+ episodes makes it so damn difficult to wait :-\

Finally an anime with an epic plot and maybe even action. I'll wait for the BDs too. Since time is flying by at 10x the normal speed for me at the moment, I doubt I'll have trouble waiting.

Epic is certainly the word for the first episode: art, soundtrack (!!!!!!!!), direction
While the plot is in a way generic it still is interesting enough to not let it bother ya
I hope they keep it up, this could be a classic in the making
